2. The Packers risk much in terms of legacy and fan support if Favre plays for another team.
3. After 17 years of playing for the Pack, if Favre goes to another team he seriously drops in the eyes of Packer fans and indeed in the eyes of fans in general. So much for being loyal to the organization. He's only loyal to his ego.
4. I've loved this guy for 17 years. If he ends up with the Vikes or the Bears frankly I hope he stinks up the joint when he plays Green Bay. Of course, that's always a 50:50 proposition, isn't it?
5. Someone, somewhere will drill him into the turf in 2009. Sooner or later his skills will be totally gone. What is old Brett going to think when he's benched in Baltimore for Smith or Flacco or one of the number of QBs in Tampa? He'll become a bum.
6. Brett. Do the right thing. Eat some humble pie and remain retired. It's time.
Oh - yea - the Pack is committed to Rodgers. Brian Brohm will be the starter by mid season. Rodgers is at best a Grade B second stringer
