This is the first summer since I began teaching where I did really nothing. It has been everything I thought it could be and more! Will not make it to Steeler training camp (too damn far) any my Raven buddy will be on away first week of August then myself the second so I will most likely not visit McDaniel either. I agree, 50. That Dallas game was brutal and Mason proved he is a real warrior with that effort while playing hurt. I am not seeing much mention of his shoulder as an issue. Regardless, you would think considering Baltimore's status as a legit championsip-contender might lure him back for another go like it did for Jerome Bettis in 2004. If Mason played for say, the Rams, his decision would be much easier.

Totally agree. It is a wonder some extremist has not turned the Pirates into the Better Business Bureau as the Bates Motel provided a more favorable product than this group of shysters (Nuttings) advertises. It is a shame I bring my wife home for a few days each summer and cannot even go and enjoy PNC Park because it would mean fattening the wallets of the Nuttings. I think they have even passed PENNDOT as the organization in PA that provides the least amount of bang for your buck.

Wow! Pirates spending money??? And we Pittsburghers just thought the Nuttings and McCrotchy just let the taxpayers pick up the majority of the tab for a beautiful new stadium in 01' which tripled the teams' value. Then they pocket revenue sharing money from teams (like the Yankees) and put a laughable product on the field. For all Steelers and Penguins haters out there here is your sweet revenge. The Pirates have now become perhaps the most pathetic sports franchise with absolutely the worst ownership. Making fun of ourselves is not even funny anymore. The last time we had a winning record George HW Bush was in office and the Internet was not operational yet.

I agree with your post, 50-year. Lets also look at what happened with the Jets last year when they spent a fortune on Faneca and co. last year and now Bart Scott this year. It ticks off the players already on the roster whom now feel underappreciated as well as grossly underpaid. So for instance, when the 49ers overpaid for fat Jennings, it eventually led to the Steelers haveing to overpay Max "The Matador" Starks 4 years 26 plus million.
