WHAT DO YOU WANT?...No trade is good enough; you all actually think Pierce isn't that good, yet you want good value for him, and you way overrate your talent that's gotten you total irrelevance and no one wanting to come to Boston. Seriously, what do you want to have happen?
That would be a tough backcourt, plus, again, the Cavs are the worst Finals participant of all time! Any east team more interested in the 'future' falls way behind. A move any east team makes right now can absolutely bomb, and they may not be in any worse shape by the time the east comes back to power...if that happens again. And if Brewer falls to Milwaukee at 6, you're looking at Billups, Redd, Brewer, Villanueva and Bogut...not the greatest team in the world, but that team would be able to score...something the east lacks.
Before you go there, understand that he's already rebuilt parks and residential complexes in his native Cleveland. So, part of it is about the money. His idiodicy and stupidity has him in the position for that to be a realistic goal, so may we all be so idiotic and stupid.
Yeah, he must have other interests outside of football...which is great, but the other schools are an odd bunch compared to Auburn...football-wise.
I'm with you on that one. I loved the old days too, but I guess things have to change. That being said, I was disgusted the way Callahan coached against USC, Texas and Auburn last year. He coached like he simply wanted to stay within 17 of USC; those kids had a chance to beat Texas in spite of him, and why in the world would you play like an underdog against an unmotivated Auburn team in the Cotton Bowl? I'd wait to see if he had confidence in his team and his own coaching ability before handing out that extension.
Judging by your scrren name and the fact that I'm from Virginia, I think we understand exactly where I'm coming from.
Wife & 2 kids, buddy. So again, your job status would be what? Other than that, your opinion on this trade scenario would be what?
Do you feel comfortable with drafting another wing player that's not polished or just taking the best available player? Are the Bulls good enough to do that? They still have major issues. Unless, you move Deng to the backcourt, where would Brewer or Thornton play? Depth?...I guess, but that just speaks to yet another guy who plays hard, gives effort/energy that's a streaky shooter at best and is easily neutralized when it counts. If Detroit is still an obstacle, the Cleveland is proving to be worse....big guards and big inside. Cleveland simply needs to address ways to score more consistently. Chicago needs to address its undersized backcourt and its undersized interior. I hope this is just a smoke screen.
