That could be true bro, but none of us really know what happens. I think Jerry might force some of these trades too.

Who's won the more recent WS? Who's the better team and has been for awhile now? That's right, it's the Sox.

Not really. The Phillies have red pinstripes.

What I want is an owner that knows what the hell he is doing. There are many times I've seen Reinsdorf order Williams to make a trade. I think if Kenny was allowed to run the team the way he wanted without Jerry ordering him to make all these trades that make no sense at all he would be a better GM. My idea of running a sports franchise, in this case Reinsdorf running the Sox is that you hire people, let them do their jobs and basically be the budget control of the team, like say payroll is $140 million and you can't go over that I'm sure Kenny could run a $140 million payroll and turn it into long term success and Jerry can afford $140 million. It takes money to put fans in the seats, when we won in 05 we averaged around 28,000 a game and in 2006 we averaged over 36,000 a game so there is proof that winning puts the fans in the seats.

My wishlist includes that the curse of the billy goat will haunt the cubs forever.

Omar Vizquel was about as good.

Right because he's getting on based on defense. If defense was the thing that got you in the HOF Jeter wouldn't be anywheres close to the HOF. He's first ballot HOF material because of his bat, I was talking about his defense and only his defense.
Posted Monday February 14, 2011, About: Indians likely to get offers for Sizemore, Carmona
They are easily the worst team in the division, the Royals are even better than them.

I don't think he was agreeing with you.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
I'm from and live in Chicago and Chicago baseball most certainly belongs to the Southside. What have the Cubs won lately? All the talk about the Cubs is negative talk anyways, who cares what anyone has to say? Your just a biased Cubs fan most likely.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
Haha I bet you only talked to Cubs fans about this. The White Sox are not the step children of Chicago, give me a break. Your not from Chicago, I don't care if people from Chicago agreed with you, there are 10 million people in the Chicagoland area so if 100 agree with you it's still not the majority of population agreeing with you.

No it's a better experience than going to Wrigley. Cubs fans suck, Sox fans are into the game.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
No instead they throw garbage on the field, they get in fights at Wrigley too so don't put that as a Sox thing. There was a huge fan fight within in the last 10 years between the Dodgers bullpen and Cubs fans. Don't say Chicago will never be a White Sox town either because it already is. Also don't pin what 2 people did 9 years ago on every Sox fan.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
Who's the other one? I only know of the White Sox.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
Why would you want to go back to that dump?
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
No they weren't.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
Who cares? The Sox draw 2.2 million last year, they had an average attendance of 27,091 that is more than half full, half full is 20,716 and they only had 15 games last year where the attendance was half full or under half full and 10 of those games were in April, May and September. Chicago has been a Sox town longer than just this year, the Cubs outdrawing us means nothing.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Chicago is ... no longer Cubs' kind of town
LOL @ attendance being the determining factor of who rules the roost in Chicago. The Sox are a better team and we've won a title in recent memory. The only thing Cubs fans talk about is attendance, who cares about attendance? If the Sox win the World Series this season and they do have a good shot but the Cubs still outdraw them which one are you going to remember? The Sox winning the series or the Cubs outdrawing the Sox. Attendance don't mean nothing, especially when the Sox aren't a bad draw. People act as if the Sox have the worst attendance in baseball, they are middle of the pack and with that who in the hell cares? Win me a World Series that's all I care about, and quite frankly we've done that.
Posted Sunday February 13, 2011, About: Cubs, White Sox have need, players for Young deal
The Sox have no need for Young for one thing and another thing Kenny doesn't have anymore money he can spend. I'd trade Teahen for Young straight up though haha. But think about it we have the best defensive SS in the game already so that position is filled, Beckham's already at 2nd and I don't see them giving up on him just yet, they drafted him not even three years ago and he's been a good player for us since coming up in June of 2009. Omar will get the start at 3rd though probably which I don't like but oh well it is what it is, I see no room on the Southside for Michael Young.
Posted Monday January 31, 2011, About: Red Sox prevent Crawford trade to Yankees
It's not like this is going to matter anyways, there is no way that any of the other 29 teams are going to want to pay a guy almost $18 million a year just to steal bases. He doesn't have that much power and he doesn't walk that much. Paying a guy like this as much as the Red Sox did is ridiculous. Don't worry about that no trade to the Yankees thing either because the other 28 teams aren't going to want him either unless Boston eats a majority of his salary.

Is he all of the sudden going to be Ozzie Smith at SS?
