Asante Samuel was never a premium DB. He's fast and tries to jump every route for the interception, and as a result he gets burned a lot. He is a miserable tackler.

There is no line between what he is calling his personal life and his professional life; it all becomes part of his public persona. Angrily hiding behind "personal privacy" after making what he knows to be a hot-button statement is disingenuous at best.
