What's so wrong with him coaching Mexico? I'd much rather see a coach taking a team that is overlooked by everybody and put the pieces together for them and win something, because that's just pure greatness of coaching football in display. Not to mention somebody who wouldnt take any job untill he gets an offer from a team that's willing to break their bank to get all the superstars needed for him. Yeah, I'm talking about Mourinho.
Posted Wednesday April 30, 2008, About: Man City to sack Goran-Eriksson
Wow. They were so in love with Eriksson first half of the season now they are talking about firing him. It's always bad idea to fire a coach of football team after one bad stretch, especially when ihe's a guy named Sven Goran Eriksson who discovered some new talents for the team to make amazing run early in the season and improve overall offense of the team. Considering their roster, he made most out of the team in my opinion. If they fire him, he will find another team, likely to be an EPL team, have good run with them. and then Man City will realize how good of a coach he was.

Ramos, not Lamos.
Posted Thursday April 24, 2008, About: Ronaldinho too pricey for Milan
At this moment right now Ronaldinho is just a possibility. He hasn't been performing at his best recently, him and Kaka together on the field hasnt been working perfectly, so AC Milan is trying to take the risk here. And when im taking a risk, I dont want to pay 30 Million Euros for that. Go for young defensive talent like Sergio Lamos would be smarter than paying 30Million Euros to Barcelona.

I think somebody just thought Chelsea should go after Ibramovic since chelsea owner's name rhymes with ivramovic. There's no way this will happen.

Ronaldo just walking around like a refree was far more scary than Henry's shot.

I partially agree with MSFC3221. He's a prolific scorer but yesterday showed that he could pe neutralized if the defender is willing to stick to him the whole 90 minute. It could have been just Skrtel being amazing but there are lots of good defenders in Italy too.

But that's only if he comes to united. It's not like my United FC is so desperately in need to get Berbatov. We're rolling towards the Double here.
Posted Tuesday April 22, 2008, About: Berbatov eyes Champions League
I thought that Rooney would be better utilized playing with a finisher. Nistelrooy was the finisher type of player who seeks the chance and finishes well. Tevez is more of all around player who runs around crazy doing everything to help the team. Rooney is also an all around player so I thought instead of putting two player with same style of playing, put Berbatov to get some pressure off of Rooney, while CR7 and Carrick could send crosses and long balls for Berbatov to put finishing touch on. Notice that we're not missing anything from Tevez because he is so quick getting into the game coming off the bench too so kinda like Solskjaer there.

What do you mean replace Louis Saha? Does that mean he will be sitting on the bench all the time? He could probably break right into the rotation. The guy knows how to play in EPL.
Posted Tuesday April 22, 2008, About: Barca star linked to Juve move
No way! I always thought Milan backs were too old! Not anymore because they have Zambrotta who could be great at both back to replace soon to be retiring Maldini and Cafu! On top of that he's only 31!!
Posted Monday April 21, 2008, About: Pele: Take Maradona's medals
Jazinho, I wasn't saying that Pele is wrong for saying such and such. I was saying that when he mentions of something like Argentina would win a WC, it would turn out to be otherwise, like getting sent home in league stage. And there was several instaces of that so my friends and I would crack a joke on it like 'The curse of Pele' like, you know Hawaiian thing. I wasn't trying to take anything away from Pele's personal achievement or doubt his personal decisions. after all, only negatives about sports personell is magnified as many others say on this thread. I heard Pele appeared on Maradona's new 120 minute long talk show. on which Batistuta also showed up. I dont think they have big issues or anything like that.
Posted Monday April 21, 2008, About: Pele: Take Maradona's medals
It's funny how his football-related predictions always go wrong. His favorites for any kinda competition has failed miserably (i.e Argentina in 2002 WC). Even the torch for the olympics went off on him. Only handful of players could be mentioned or compared with pele, but the saga after his retirement is not all that desirable

I think Ronaldinho should go ahead and try what the other football players do. Yeah, and by the other football players I mean people like Chad Johnson, Brian Urlacher, Jeremy Shockey... yeah, them.

Posted Monday April 21, 2008, About: Nike helping Inter's Ronaldinho bid
Apparently, He is off to Milan. La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian sports newspaper says that Ronaldinho's agent/brother landed the deal with AC Milan for 8 million Euro/yr throughout to the year 2012 and is set to negotiate with Barcelona for the transfer fee to be between 20~30 million Euro. The president of AC Milan even got a sign shirts from Ronaldinho, if that could mean anything. KaKa. It looks as if there's nothing Nike can do to change Ronaldinho's mind.
Posted Monday April 21, 2008, About: Milan's Gattuso linked to Man U.
Geez, a DM with no offensive skillset whatsoever? C'mon, as good as he is at being a Defensive midfielder, he is no Roy Keane. Hargreaves and Carrick is just fine. Dont give Fergie any more headache about who to play in midfield.
Posted Sunday April 20, 2008, About: Gullit slams Milan, Maldini
About an arguement like this, I always say that only the plays who could play play the game. Maldini is one of the oldest active players, but he is still playing for AC Milan. Why? Has it ever occured to anyone that it might, just might be because he is the best one available on the misurably old backline of AC Milan anyways? Do people really think that the coach and the owner of AC Milan are not letting go of Maldini even though he's not quite at the level to play? They had solid performance in Italy, Champions League, and Club WorldCup over years. This is probably the first horrible season they had in a long stretch of time. They do have to prevent the collapsing that could come along with the retirement of their defenders and Pirlo, Gattuso, and Sedorf which might come altogether in couple seasons, but it's not like they have become the NY Knicks of soccer.

Yeah I only watched one game of MLS this season and that was LA vs San Jose. I liked plays of LA's right back, number 7 i believe, absolutely hated the striker number 27, about whom I was confused about whether he was half-hearted, or just physically so weak. They seriously could have used Maldini too, I dont even remember the left back of LA making any kind of play.
