fan support ? what planet are you from? The kings fans supported the team win or lose. it was the local politicians who were indifferent. The fans always supported the team. They sold out Arco more seasons then most teams in the last 25 years...and they made the playoffs 8 years in a row.

Homophobic jokes? lol .....people don't vacation in Denver... Denver is a place for people to change planes on their way to somewhere else.

As a Niner's fan the think ownership is starting to get things turned around. Harbaugh was a good fit. Only time will tell though. S.F. has a good core group of players.
Posted Wednesday March 23, 2011, About: Dalembert won't commit to Kings
He should test the free agent market. He would be a fool to commit to the kings(or royals) or whatever they will be called next year. The Magoofs are making fools of themselves anyway.
They are leaving a market where they had a loyal fan base and no competition, for a market that has 2 teams already and fans who will only show up every night if the team is in the playoffs. (see the Mighty Ducks)

and Imagine SoCals with a T.V. remotes in their hands..."hmmm which game should I watch, The Lakers game or O.C. Royals game?"

cocky maybe? ....confident absolutely!.

If you walk in an MMA right and you are not confident in your fighting ability, you should not be in there.

I watched it ....He dominated that fight from start to finish. Period.

Posted Friday March 18, 2011, About: Kupchak: Bynum -- at his best -- is untouchable
Bynum has missed a lot games. (so far 321 games in 6 seasons) His knees are bad. Some people are just prone to injury. He is a big guy and big men weigh more so the pounding on his knees will always be a problem. The older he gets the problem will get worse.

Looking at his history, What makes you think he not going to get hurt again?

No one is wishing bad things for him. But you have to be a realist.

More like wishful thinking on YOUR part.

This ain't your fathers NFL ..football is getting closer to soccer every year.
Posted Wednesday March 16, 2011, About: Westphal hoping for Evans return within 10 days
dry spells or drought ...meaning lack of winning record (over .500) ..making the playoffs.... competing every night.

Winning ring(s) is the ultimate goal of course.
But there are plenty of franchises who have never won a champion chip at all.

thats what they said about Jay Cutler too. " that kid has a strong arm!" lol
Posted Tuesday March 15, 2011, About: Westphal hoping for Evans return within 10 days
Kings are rebuilding and getting some nice young players. Cousins has huge potential, Evans was rookie of year... Casspi looks like he will become a good NBA player...Marcus Thorton (what were the hornets thinking giving up on a scorer like that and trading for Carl Landry?).. its easy to kick a team when they are down. Every team goes through dry spells.

you are right, He probably put on at least 15 extra Lbs. of weight for Pro Football. If he trains full time for boxing he will drop down to light heavyweight or lower. I just want to see some good boxing.
Posted Saturday March 12, 2011, About: Ravens safety to fight again
Zbikowski is good athlete. He was a QB/DB in High school in Illinois. This is his last fight in his 3 fight deal. I hope he signs for more fights. Boxing (especially the Heavyweights) needs some star power. He has got a lot of potential. Plus the NFL owners just locked out the players, so no football for him to play anyway. I wish him luck.
Posted Thursday March 10, 2011, About: Dareus enters mix as possible No. 1
Ron Rivera should just Draft him and trade down. Its a good way to get more value from the top spot. Plenty of teams would give up a lower pick ( probably a player or 2nd pick or both) for a DT with his potential.

Carolina needs a QB but there is not one worthy of a #1 draft pick this year.
Posted Thursday March 10, 2011, About: Jordan: 'No doubt' about MVP. It's Rose
Good, i thought for a min there you were a Lakers homer..... I only gave the assist stats to compare the two because they are so close in every other stat category. I gave the Rose the edge for MVP because his assist account for almost 8 more points a game for the Bulls.

Its not decided ...

Dirk could win it ....Howard too (but I doubt it) The best bet is D. Rose or Kobe to win MVP.
Posted Thursday March 10, 2011, About: Jordan: 'No doubt' about MVP. It's Rose
#1 You are right about the Bulls offence in 88-89..

However Pippen got 7 assist a game and averaged 21 points per in the triangle .. " more of a passer than a scorer?" COME ON MAN! I would not call 21 points per - "not a scorer"

lol...and what does 39 min a game have to do with it?

why do Laker / Kobe fans make so many excuses for Kobe ballhoggedness? If Rose was not so good this year..Kobe would be the MVP.... get over it. Rose is better this year.
Posted Thursday March 10, 2011, About: Jordan: 'No doubt' about MVP. It's Rose
Michael Jordan averaged 8.0 assist in 88-89 (playing SG, Kobe's same position in the triangle)

Scotty Pippen averaged 7.0 assist in 91-92 (you can argue Pip was a Point forward in the triangle)

so blaming Kobe's lack of assists on Tex Winters is weak.
Posted Thursday March 10, 2011, About: Jordan: 'No doubt' about MVP. It's Rose
as much as kobe touches the ball in the triangle offence, his assist could be higher. Kobe can be a black hole at times...(true story)

I think the edge goes to Rose this year.
Posted Thursday March 10, 2011, About: Jordan: 'No doubt' about MVP. It's Rose
Rose is the MVP this year for sure. Kobe is always in the running but. Compare Stats and they are both about the same in almost every cat. this year. EXCEPT ... Kobe's assists =4.8
Rose assists = 8.1

Rose makes his team better every night.
