Williams isn't a PG. I doubt MN takes him

OKC played very aggressive attacking the rim which lead to the refs calling touch fouls early which is okay. Dallas went away from there Bread N Butter and didn't get the ball to Dirk enough between the 2nd and 3rd quarter. Dallas was not consistent in the paint botching layups. Shawne Marion has a really ugly shot.

Orlando is going to want a kings ransom for Dwight and I don't know if GS has enough to be competitive if they trade away who they have to get Dwight. Orlando without Dwight is a lottery team so if they do deal a trade it will be with a team that can offer a load of cash and expiring deals to get cap room.

I do see GS gifting a few players though, how Jerry West goes so go the Lakers.

As an act of definance Adelman sabotages the Lakers to make up for the Sacramento debacle.
Posted Thursday May 05, 2011, About: Pitino: NBA players will flood Europe
If a lockout were to happen it wouldn't be an entire season worth of games lost. A deal will get done and the money will flow. Too much to be lost by not playing.

That's actually an improvement to the Timberwolves
Posted Thursday May 05, 2011, About: Lakers collapse being pinned on Gasol
The Mav's have The Lakers on the ropes and pretty much out on their feet. Are the Lakers running the scheme's that they want to run? Yes.. and are they playing hard? Not for 4 quarters. It's spurts and I think that's all they can muster at this point because of energy. If you can't play with urgency or excitement in front of your home crowd then you're doomed.

Dirk is playing at a higher level but it doesn't hurt that he has help on the defensive end. Dallas used to be a run and gun team that had to simply outscore everyone to win and now they have bodies in the paint to protect the rim and a bench that can score. Dirk has become aggressive because of the attitude this team has now, he has enforcers around him that don't mind getting down low and fighting for rebounds. That tenacity has rubbed off on him and upped his aggression.

Kudos to Dallas for turning on the burners and peaking at the right time.

Spurs would consider him if the price was right. Pop only deals with veterans for the most part who will buy into his system and follow it to a T. Pop is an above average coach, maximizes what he can out of his roster and can teach defense.

He is wearing Shape Up's

It's a win win situation in Detroit. Can't believe I'm saying that.
Posted Thursday April 28, 2011, About: Panthers down to four
As long as they stay away from drafting a QB they will be +1
Posted Thursday April 28, 2011, About: Dallas could move up for Cowboys fan Peterson
I'm okay with taking Peterson but definitely need to address the O-Line. Interesting to read this morning that JJ is giving Garrett a lot of wiggle space in the war room tonight. Apparently the most wiggle room he's allowed a head coach to have with draft decisions since Jimmy.
Posted Thursday April 28, 2011, About: Heat want Celtics for lunch
Of course I'm right. The Heat will step up there game but Lebron, DWade and Bosh have not put together consistent games against elite teams. In order for Miami to win this series they have to play flawless against a deep Celtics team. I'm not saying they'll be pretty wins but a win is a win.

Mr. Big Shot is getting paid, good for him, he'll give the Knicks a good 40 or 50 games in between injuries and that should be good enough to get them in the playoff's again.
Posted Thursday April 28, 2011, About: Heat want Celtics for lunch
The Heat will not win 4 against Boston. Celtics in 6
Posted Thursday April 28, 2011, About: Hawks' Johnson doesn't get it
If you want Joe Johnson to care you have to do it on the court. The guy doesn't care about what's written about him or what's said because he's getting paid. JJ reminds me of McNabb running a 2 minute drill and casually walking up to the line of scrimmage. Rarely do I see a sense of urgency and the fact he's a hot and cold shooter doesn't help if his team is struggling.

You want to make a point, stick him in the low block and have him defend Howard for a few trips down the court catching elbows and he'll show some fire to get out of the dog house.
Posted Thursday April 28, 2011, About: Sloan the guy for Warriors?
The Warriors are still built around the "Run and Gun" system and we all know that never works in the playoffs or for that matter the regular season without consistent play. Sloan would be a bad fit for the personnel they have and the team would need to be blown up to bring in Sloan type guys. If Sloan does coach again it will be a team that is a few pieces away rather then a rebuilding project. He's one of the best at maximizing talent and has done so much with so little.
Posted Wednesday April 27, 2011, About: Spurs not old, just 'wussies'
The Spurs will win tonight's game out of pride alone but I don't see them winning this series unless the Grizz roll over and die. The Spurs big 3 have not been consistent and the bench players are non existent. I fail to see why Pop runs Bonner out there when obviously he needs someone who has some sense of playing defense but that's not the topic of conversation.

All in all the Spurs will more then likely lose this series and have to seriously consider rebuilding and reiterate the defensive mentality that helped them win 4 titles. The real interesting thing is that the Spurs have been competitive for a very long time. The Spurs have been successful from the early 90s through now and I think have only missed the playoff's 1 time in a span of 20 years. San Antonio has been blessed with David Robinson and then Tim Duncan and we've become spoiled but I don't think they become cellar dwellers with the decline of the Big 3. Hopefully, as a fan, the Spurs find a way to get another big man to anchor another Spurs run in the next few years. Not sure if Tiago is the guy for that.
Posted Monday March 28, 2011, About: Tyron Smith gaining momentum as pick in Dallas
They'll go OL in the draft but either DB or OL would be the way to go. I'm really curious to see what the offense will look like this year, wondering if Garrett has anymore offensive plays that he didn't show last season. First 6 games, very vanilla offense, becomes head coach, completely different style.
Posted Monday March 28, 2011, About: Broncos blowing QB smoke? Drafting Dareus?
I wouldn't exactly say Jimmy Claussen "busted" when he played for a very poor Carolina Football team. John Fox has no credibility when it comes to QB's either, his decision to run Delhomme out there despite his horrible performance leads me to believe he should just be a defensive coordinator somewhere.
