I don't think anyone around the program sees Rush staying, but I know I'm holding out hope for a Florida-esque team meeting where Brandon, Darrell and Mario put their heads together and decide to win a second NC for coach Self and the University.

I know it's probably a pipe dream, but four months ago, so was this NC we just celebrated . . .

I've watched all of Bill's press conferences since the Okie State job came open, and he's quashed the "rumors" every time they've come up. He's said repeatedly that if contacted he'll suggest to OSU that they look elsewhere.

Will he definitely be staying at Kansas? Ask his boss. Bill's point all along has been that his continued work with Kansas isn't up to him -- it's up to Kansas Athletic Director Lew Perkins. Everybody involved (including coach) think the deal will get done.

Bill's in a great position to ask for more money, as well as for more years, and perhaps most importantly to Jayhawks, more budget for facilities and remodeling.

Get it done, Lew!

Grosse, I watched a lot of K-State this season, and while Walker could use a year, Beasley is ready. That kid is the real deal.
