Posted Friday November 22, 2013, About: Report: Mike Shanahan didn't want RG3 do you make that kind of trade to get him and not have it be your idea? Aren't you the head coach and more or less assistant GM? Didn't you insist on "total control" before taking this job? How is it you have anyone on that team you didn't want....especially if its a rookie QB?

A firing cometh, and cometh soon.

Come on the Pistons. We need a 3 pt. sniper.
Posted Thursday October 17, 2013, About: Jets QB predicts his own greatness
What's he supposed to say? "Gee, no, I will not be elite. I'm lucky to have a job in the NFL. Excuse me while I drown myself in the cold tub."

Give me a break.
Posted Thursday October 10, 2013, About: Irate Sanchez screamed at Jets GM
He should be angry about it because it was a load junk. I'm not a Sanchez guy by any means but that competition was far from over, and he deserved better.

And yes, they could have played him in the 4th game and I don't think that would have been that offensive to him. It is not uncommon to see guys in the 4th game if things are not decided yet, or if the 1st team needs more work. The Lions played starters in the 4th game for about a quarter or so at positions they were still evaluating or sharpening.

A second pick in the draft that is not developing, just recovering.

How callous of you. Anxiety issues are real, and he shouldn't be precluded from playing professional basketball over them. They can and should help this young man through and they may get rewarded with a great basketball player.
Posted Wednesday October 09, 2013, About: Sixers supporting White 'with respect'
I wouldn't be so sure. My wife has similar issues and it cripples her when it comes to things that make her anxious.

He might really have problems that are severe, and the Rockets to me sounded like they did not have the patience to deal with him.

I'm from the D so I have nothing to say about anyone's city. Last time I checked Detroit and Cleveland shared the same struggle bus route.

High Lord Roger Goddell does not brook disrespect.
Posted Tuesday October 08, 2013, About: Pistons SG competition down to two
Please Note: I am sick and tired of a stupid embedded video playing every time I open up T & R!

Anyway, I hope KCP starts and Stuckey comes off the bench. That would be best for the Pistons I think.

And I just love how he said he wouldn't have Suh on his team after they got that BS win on Thanksgiving last year.

Not so cute now, huh?
Posted Friday October 04, 2013, About: Doc: L.A. will always be a Lakers town
Well, yeah. No way the Clips are taking L.A. away from the Lake Show.

Oh....and this is brilliant by Doc because he's defusing any talk like that from his guys if they start out well this year....and taking pressure off of them if they fall short this year.
Posted Friday October 04, 2013, About: Schiano losing the Bucs
Yeah, I liked New Jersey when I visited there.

And this thing is going to explode in a big ugly mess if they don't win this week. If they go 0-5 then it will drastic. That locker room has to be ready to explode.
Posted Friday October 04, 2013, About: Schiano losing the Bucs
I agree. The poorly handled firing of Morris, the hiring of Schiano, the rough past two seasons, the getting rid of Talib, and finally the butchering of Freeman's situation should be the last straw. If I'm the owner Dominik is hanging on to his job by his fingernails.
Posted Friday October 04, 2013, About: Schiano losing the Bucs fire a coach after a 11 win season over what was presumably personality issues with a young guy. You hire this jerky from New Jersey Schiano under the guise that he is going to clean up the mess. All he's done is ruin that team and continually run off their most talented players in some vain attempt to bring order.

I never heard a good reason for Morris's firing, I heard no good reason for running of Aqib Talib, and still no good reason given for Freeman's cut save Schiano showing him who is boss. That is just poor management. I hope Schiano is renting in Tampa Bay because he may not make it to week 8 at this rate.
Posted Wednesday October 02, 2013, About: Pistons, Monroe headed for a split?
I know this is a bit off topic, but it is crazy to me that people in L.A. were dumping on Howard so bad when he was second in the league in double doubles. Just the arrogance of it. Finally it rose up to bite them square on the booty.

Monroe is good, but not great. I think he's enough a team guy that if something good comes about with this current configuration that he will take a bit less to stay. Jennings and Smith took a little less to come here. However....I don't think they're married to Monroe and if anyone will be traded off that front line it will be him.
Posted Tuesday October 01, 2013, About: A smear campaign on Freeman?
Schiano is mean and unprofessional. When he ordered a bull rush on a kneel down I found that to be reprehensible. That's how you get someone hurt.

Freeman's play may have been rough....but he doesn't deserve all the blame. That team is rotten from the inside out.
Posted Monday September 23, 2013, About: Derrick Rose says he has no physical restrictions
RG III was cleared too before his playoff game. How did that work out?

Here's a hint: Not well at all.
Posted Monday September 23, 2013, About: Derrick Rose says he has no physical restrictions
Oh my a Pistons fan I have to defend this guy? Really?

First of all, children, Derrick Rose made a business decision. His knee was not right. Why should he come back before he's ready? To do what? Play below expectations and get hammered by fans for poor play in order to try for their respect? What sense does that make?

And what does the "respect" of fans have to do with the price of tea in China? Fans are as fickle and rude as they can be and the respect of some 300 lbs meatball sitting on his couch or cheap office chair making comments about his life means nothing. If Derrick Rose is conducting his business to please stupid fans then he's already lost.

That dude is one of the most dynamic players in the league. Hey....if the Bulls fans don't want him we'll take him on the Pistons and burn the city of Chicago, along with the league, down to the ground leaving nothing. We'll salt the earth so nothing will grow.

Get off Derrick Rose Bulls fans. Thank your lucky stars you have him on your team. Now am I going to wash the bile from my mouth after defending an enemy player like this. Go Pistons.

I don't know about "putrid". That's a bit rough indeed.
Posted Wednesday September 18, 2013, About: Vick still grateful to Reid
Agree. Vick paid a heavy price. Reid showed true forgiveness and mentorship with him. Andy Reid is a quality person and brought out the best in Vick. That is why I found it funny when some people thought that Vick was disrespecting him when he complemented Kelly. Vick's feelings for Kelly could never surpass Reid....because Reid gave a chance when no one else would touch him. That means a lot.
