You know those guys are too egotistical to take anything upon themselves. If you're one of their people you do what you're told to a large extent, and if it goes wrong you get blamed and fired. It seems like that is a standard at most jobs.

Never seen a coach have two dominant big men and don't hardly use them together. Oh, wait, I do. I'm a Pistons fan. Never have I seen two coaches (Frank and D'antoni [sp?]) so thoroughly mismanage their squads. The Pistons didn't hardly have a chance, but L.A. was supposedly in better shape and barely made the playoffs only to be embarrassed. I've never seen a coach alienate a star player the way he did....and I don't even mean Howard. I mean his stupid reaction to Kobe tweeting his guys and trying to coach them up. I think he got mad because Kobe was outcoaching him and he felt like he was being shown up. Typical reaction by scrubs and he is a scrub coach. D'antoni has ruined two different teams and is about to ruin a third. He's like Mad Mike Martz because he is so scheme oriented that he will trade, reduce time, or ignore players that don't fit his mold despite whatever talent they may have. Good coaches adjust to their personnel. When Buss got this guy on board I knew that fans would rue that day just for these reasons. They truly should have gave Mike Brown a chance but they got impatient....and that includes the Lakers veterans.

What a superstitious bunch these NBA coaches are. For as much as these guys are about accuracy, numbers, repition, and practice it is amazing that they are still caught up on these meaningless stats.

But on the other hand I think Spo knows that he's in the ride of his life right now coaching James and company and he does not want any attention on himself which is more than likely smart.

There was nothing wrong with the way he left. He played through his contract, and held his own press conference and he shared the moment with some kids. He did the right thing and took control of his life and his fate and did it his way. I applaud him for that.

I think Gronk is funny and refreshing....but he was partying a little too hard with a freshly fixed arm. I'm sure Mom and Dad have said something to him by now. I watched that E 60 video and I can tell that his Mom is cool enough to put him in check and not emasculate him.

Geno Smith take note. The only people you should worry about pleasing are your teammates, your coaches, the owner, and most importantly yourself. I'm sure you'll keep your head despite all this talk because you've already won in life. You should just do like you said you already do and that's stay out of trouble and the rest of it will come along just fine.

What do you guys expect from Smith? I truly don't know what all this "diva" mess is about besides the opinions of a few scouts and vicious fans? What did he do, specifically, that is so diva like? He wanted to go home after the first day of the draft. A lot of guys over the years have just flat out stayed home and no one said a word. Aaron Rodgers was making faces, looking bored and angry, and yet no one then and no one now called him a "diva" and are okay with his admitted thin skin.

What is the double standard here? Why is everyone on Smith? Why the hatred?
