I wouldn't say Dallas has "failed miserably". They were filling the arena until the fans got fed up with the ownership and putting crappy teams on the ice. And yes, most American cities stop going to games when their teams suck. There are better things to blow $70+ a piece on than a crappy team night in and night out. And I don't understand the CBC coverage comment...There are a lot of NHL cities that don't get CBC(except for NHL Network's coverage). So you're saying if a city doesn't have a Canadian channel they shouldn't have a team?? Just very confused by your ramblings
