These. THESE. You made a TD about OPS+ and ERA+ and alluded to their being fancy. And I said calling THESE stats fancy is absurd. These. Again.

Obviously, I can not compute those stats off the top of my head because I'm not privy to ball park adjustments. But I understand how they are computed and why. And their functionality to the game of baseball is more necessary, in my opinion, than WAR or UZR.

I know a high or low OPS+ plus indicates whether player A gets on base and hits for power more effectively or less effectively than the rest of the sport when OPS simply adds what the OBP and SLG are. It makes it easier for me to understand the stat and what it means.
