Judging by these comments I can't see how anyone would even think that Vick will return to NFL. Porter must be crazy thinking Bin Laden could start at RB. He was a shutdown corner in his younger days though. Saying Ricky will stay clean is like saying Belichick wont cheat. Look at the track records. I think Ricky should steer clear of the NFL.

Meanwhile, the Giants are 6-3, not bad huh?? I love how the expectations in the NFL have grown, and how fast sportswriters are to react. Every team in the NFL is bad except the Patriots. When the Pats lose a game, every team will be bad except the teams with one loss. Rinse lather repeat.

If it wasn't for Joe Theisman, Doug Williams, Mark Rypien, Gary Clark, Art Monk, Rick Sanders, John Riggins, Timmy Smith, Ernest Byner, Ricky Ervans, Chip Lohmiller, Darrell Green, Martin Mahew, Kurt Goveia, Wilber Marshall, Jumpy Geathers, Charles Mann, Dexter Manley, Jim Lachey, Mark Schlereth, Jeff Bostic, Joe Jacoby, Russ Grimm, Raleigh McKenzie, Mark May, Charlie Brown, Don Warren & the rest of the players Gibbs drafted and coached, & the 3 Super Bowl wins , he would not be thought of as a genius.

Have you done any real research on the Bears? The Bears have added several new weapons to their offense (Devin Hester, Greg Oleson). Grossman has looked superb in camp, and Bernard Berrian is poised to have a breakout year. Add to that the fact that the Bears have one of the best offensive lines in football, and are a good play-action team how can Benson go backwards instead of forward? You mention that Benson only averaged 4.1 yards per carry last year, but over the last 8 games of the year he averaged 4.9 yards per carry. I am sorry but you are wrong. Actually I am not sorry you (and the vast majority of national sports writers) are biased and wrong about the Bears. It makes it that much sweeter when they win and prove you all wrong.

I believe a player should be banned for life for drug use. Unfortunately. Williams was just smokin weed. He was not selling blow to high school kids. Just smoking a bit a weed now and again. After day of running up and down the field, getting tackled and stuff, I'll bet an evening smoke would be rather therapeutic.
