Posted Friday April 06, 2012, About: Michigan's Burke having second thoughts?
Well we're getting like a 6'10 center and two 6'6 shooting guards in our recruiting class next year, so size is quickly becoming less and less of a problem. Without Burke though, we don't have a SINGLE point guard.

The question marks are supposed to be quotation marks, but FN is **** like that.

???I think it was clean,??? he said. ???I had my head down???..I saw him standing on the blue line and I was kind of naive and thought he??? was going to back up. It was a tough hit to take, but I think it was a clean hit from my side. It was my bad, and I think those hits should stay in the game.???

Ahh, the joy of being a Lion's fan. And by joy, I mean gut-wrenching sorrow.

Posted Monday January 17, 2011, About: Miles left riches on table to stay
Although really, how many teams over the past decade have actually played the Colts and the Patriots in consecutive weeks?
Posted Monday January 10, 2011, About: Miles speculation heats up
(rolls eyes) How many of the unemployed people in Detroit do you think graduated from the University of Michigan? Hell, how many of them do you think graduated from high school?
Posted Monday January 10, 2011, About: Miles speculation heats up
It's equally important to Ohio State. They just haven't had to worry about it for a while. Remember what they did to John Cooper after 5 10+ win seasons in 6 years because he couldn't beat Michigan? That's right, they canned him.
Posted Tuesday January 04, 2011, About: Harbaugh holding snub against Michigan?
Back when Harbaugh was passed up for the Michigan Quarterback's coaching job, there was a different head coach, a completely different staff, and a different Athletic Director. Michigan's atletics department looks almost nothing like it did 8 years ago. I doubt that will factor into his decision.
Posted Monday January 03, 2011, About: Will Robinson stay if Michigan cans RichRod?
Michigan's entire staff is from WVU, with the exception of running backs coach Fred Jackson. So if Rich Rod goes, effectively the entire staff will follow.
Posted Sunday January 02, 2011, About: Will Robinson stay if Michigan cans RichRod?
If we don't get Harbaugh, my vote goes to keeping Rich Rod around. We may not win much, but the games will sure as hell be exciting.

I love being a Lions fan... just when things are looking up, we have Drew Stanton starting at quarterback.
Posted Thursday November 04, 2010, About: Wolverines D sustains another loss
Ironically enough, many of those players cited "playing time" as their major reason for leaving, or they were kicked of the team for undisclosed reasons. It's not Rich Rod's fault if the current junior and senior classes (who were recruited by Lloyd Carr) were weak.
Posted Thursday November 04, 2010, About: Wolverines D sustains another loss
Anyone who follows Michigan football even casually knew that the defense was going to be bad this year. Once Woolfolk went down during camp, everyone prepared for the worst. Our secondary consisted of two true freshmen, a walk-on, a converted wide receiver, and JT Floyd. Now Floyd is gone. There is no hope.

It's not scheme or coaching that's causing the problem, it's a lack of upperclassmen and depth. There is nothing the coaches can do about that. They can only wait a year and hope it gets better.
