Baund-ded, that is about the dumbest thing i have heard you say. Trading marty, and what goaltending would the devils get back that would be good enough? Devils have the money to pick up a few key players, and they could be back in the run for the cup like usual. Marty is still an above average player.

Rangers fans better stop whining about crosby. He is a great player and just dumped on the rangers. Figures that this was from the New York Post. Yea, it might have been a weak penalty called on straka, but crosby was still going for the net and did not dive. The rangers got outplayed and are making excuses. They even got a break on their second goal. It was a high stick but it was called a goal because it was inconlusive. Penguins, please go destroy the rangers tonight and knock out avery please.

davep, i am not a habs or flyers fan and that was a goal by kovalev because the part of the stick that touched the puck was under the crossbar. Secondly, richards deserved the penalty at the end of the game. He stuck his leg out, and that is an easy way to injure another player. Come on, i know you are flyers fan, so stop making excuses.

I give this guy credit for sticking in the league so long. He has done a lot for his team, and even though he may feel that he had been left out to dry by them, the pick up of Huet was huge for the future of the Caps team. Good luck Ollie for finding another team.

mcelt91 - I am so sure that the clarkson play was the only thing avery cried about, meanwhile he was the one who did those things all series. Avery cried to the refs for all the goalie inference calls, and if you watch them, he looks at brodeur and tries to fall harder.

As i said before, everyone is saying he is looking human now because of his defense. However, look at his age, and he is still above average. When he was Henriks age, he already had a cup, a calder trophy, and many other things that henry will never get. Marty has the right to talk, unlike avery, who is contsantly diving on goalies and crying to the refs. He also talks on the ice about stuff that doesnt relate to hockey (Jason Blake's illness, broduers divorce five years ago). He is just jealous that brodeur is the best goalie of all-time. Match any of his achievements with any other goalie. No goalie has the stickhandling skills, the glove, and controlled rebounds all like him.

nyr35 - when is the last season that anyone really had a chance to bash brodeur before this year. It wasn't even that brodeur played bad during the season series. The team in front of him couldn't score. There were many seasons that the rangers got destroyed by the devils but nobody blamed it on ricther or any of the other goalies. Give him a break, brodeur is almost 36 years old. No goalie has ever been as consistant as him.
