Actually, the constitution gives every law-abiding citizen the right to bear arms. Regardless of the NFL's personal conduct policy, in addition, technically because the NFL operates under Anti-Trust laws they could be the subject of a law suit if they suspended a player who was well within the law of carrying or using a gun.

Stories like this highlight how ridiculously judgemental people have become. They dont care what they say, how stupid they look or who they insult because they get to hide behind a computer and never answer to their words or actions. If your commenting about a man's guilt or innocence before anything of value comes out of the case than you are a moron...plain and simple, no questions asked.
