Of course it would have gone to the national media, because he would have been only the first person ever to win two Heisman trophies by his Junior year! How could that not be big news?

Besides, most of you Tebow haters would love him to death if he played on your team. Some of your teams tried to get him, actually...Michigan, Notre Dame...Bama. Oh, were the Bamites bummed when he committed to Florida.

I have no answer to all the hype he gets...I don't really pay any attention to it. The kid's a large linebacker playing quarterback, and he spends his summers doing missionary work. Of couse they're going to do stories on him. He's an easy story.

At least it wasn't another article about lowlife college players stealing laptops and whipping their old ladies. Or getting in a knife fight at a bar.

Naw, I'm a gaytor. My post was actually attacking svt, because he's wrong about everything (except that Miami has produced much more NFL talent - he's right about that).

I know that has nothing to do with the nfl, though. Hasn't the U sent more players to the NFL than any other school? Sorry fellow Gator fans, we can't compete with 'em there. They might not've produced a rusher like Emmit Smith, but they have us nailed in the quarterback category, to say the least.

You're telling him not to live in the past, but you're bringing up Miami's PAST success against Florida. Miami didn't win the title last year, either. Who won the head-to-head this year?

You even come up with silly arguments in defense of your posts - which display clear latent homosexual tendencies - and you still fail. As one of the few Miami representers around, you should take note of how bad you make the 'Canes look. I know a few Miami fans, and none of them are nearly as unintelligent as you.

And you aren't even funny.

I mean, I'd let it all slide if you were at least funny on purpose.

Yeah, since Florida couldn't recruit Tebow, Harvin, Spikes, Murphy, Nelson, Demps, Rainey, Haden, Wright, or Chris Leak for that matter, we had all those players transfer over from the "U."

It's a really smart system, since Miami spends all the time and money to get these guys to go to school, and then all Florida has to do is wait for them to transfer.

The Seminole tribe has spoken publicly in support of Florida State using the name, "Seminoles," for all of its sport teams...and they spoke out against people saying the mascot name was racist and exploitative. Which kinda eliminates your argument in this case.

Interestingly, the people who are talking about Tebow being a bad person invariably do not actually know him.

I do not know him myself, either, but a friend of mine went to church with him, and even though she HATES the Gators and everything football-related in Florida, she grudgingly admits that he and his parents are very humble people. She did say his brother is a ****, though.

And it isn't like Tebow's the one shooting and editing all the ESPN coverage on him...the network does that sort of thing, generally because they think profiling one player or another will appeal to more viewers, and thus get them more advertising money.
