Posted Friday January 25, 2008, About: Bears rethink quarterback plan
Well Rex should definitely NOT get the entire blame for the Bears this season. There is plenty of blame to go around: We have no secondary; we really don't have an O-line; we have a questionable RB; and mediocre WRs. I don't think the QB position is the end all solution to the Bears quagmire.

That being said, Rex has an arm but he still doesn't know how to use it. He probably would benefit from better pass protection and receivers who could actually hold on to the ball. The biggest problem with Grossman is his attitude. He just doesn't bring you faith in terms of winning. Someone mentioned some stats on P.Manning-and while all that is true, you just realized that Manning was going to come in his own. The same can be said about his brother or Romo or Rivers, etc. I don't get that feeling from Grossman. Its not enough to draft a QB--but it makes you wonder how much better the Bears could be if they could get a QB that at the very least hike the ball, check the receivers who are usually covered and then run! Because that's what we need-- a scrambler.

Just please don't go to Fulham

The SuperBowl will definitely be high scoring. Its true--the Giants D is not better than San Diego's defense. But their offense is better than the Chargers. If the Giants want to win this game, they need to keep putting up points and hope that the Pats don't put up as many. Its pretty simple
Posted Tuesday January 15, 2008, About: NCAA investigates Wooden
I wouldn't go far as to say that the NCAA are scums because they're investigating a possible lead on John Wooden. If any of you have HBO, watch the documentary on UCLA basketball. You'll get an interesting account on John Wooden during the UCLA dynasty. There have been reports that Wooden was aware of possible illegal activities when it came to providing money, goods, etc., to his players. They never directly linked him to the corruption--but they did say that he knew about it and how he never reacted to such incidents.
Posted Tuesday January 15, 2008, About: Zidane considers soccer return
&%#XX- whatever your name is--please don't comment on this thread because you're a bozo. European soccer players make more money than American football players do. This is a fact. So get back to flipping your burgers in some hick joint in the South.

I think Zidane should come back. We're less than 2 years away from the last World Cup and I'm sure that he's not that rusty. He was by far the best player WC '06. The guy has incredible skills. But for the love of God, please do not come to the MLS

Man Fulham is terrible--is it a coincidence that they keep getting American soccer players?
Posted Monday January 14, 2008, About: Feilhaber heading to Israel?
I don't know how great the Israeli soccer league is compared to the MLS. Frankly, I think they're both bottom tier leagues. And American players should stick what they know best--playing in the MLS. A friend of mine keeps pointing out how American soccer players are breaking into the EPL. But most of them play for bottom EPL teams, i.e. Fulham who most likely will be relegated at the end of this year. So much for American soccer
Posted Thursday December 27, 2007, About: Becks seeking England return?
I agree- Capello should put him back on the team. I've never been a Beckham fan, especially after he married and got all soft. But the man is a cornerstone to England's game. No one has a better set kick than he does.
Posted Thursday December 27, 2007, About: Orton may stay in Bears picture
The Bears need a QB like Anderson. With the exception of last week's game v. the Bengals he's put up fantastic numbers. Orton, Grossman, Griese--all three are 2nd tier QB's. Why do we need to go through this charade again next year? I'd be happy if we even picked up McNabb. But for the love of God, do not draft a QB in the 1st three rounds! We're cursed at drafting them.
Posted Thursday November 29, 2007, About: Knight accused in hunt shootings
This message is in response to Bandit 77 who claims that Bobby Knight has done "JS in the last 20 years". Really??

Well he won 4 Big Ten titles after 1987, took one IU team to a Final Four, one to an Elite 8 and he's been to the Sweet 16 four times after 1987. But even more than that, he took a pathetic team like TT and has actually made them into an NCAA 64 contender five out of the 6 years he's been coaching there.

If Coach K, Roy Williams, Jim Boeheim and Calhoun had the mediocre talent he had, they would be playin in the NIT every year. So who's done JS Bandit?

She's hot that for sure--but she's too frickin possessive! She's going to screw his head. Wait- what am I talking about. That's a good thing.
Posted Tuesday November 20, 2007, About: Bears make Briggs priority
Yes- they need a damm O-line! But this is a good move. Briggs is key on that team. Now they can draft a lineman in the first round. I'm just praying that the Bears go after Derek Anderson next year. Either him or McNabb. Dump Griese and Grossman--they both suck. Take Tyler Donovan in the 3rd round of the draft
Posted Tuesday November 20, 2007, About: Did White Sox fleece Angels?
Great move by the Sox- Cabrera is going to be big time for them especially with an infield that struggles to keep it together. They should be signing Torre Hunter by the end of next month. Although I don't care for the SOX, you've got to give them credit. Garland was one guy on that pitching staff that was expendable--he's so streaky
Posted Thursday November 15, 2007, About: Herschel wants to fight Spurrier?
If Herschel was playing it as a joke, I don't see what the problem is. But if he's serious, the guy is frickin nuts!! What are you going to prove by knocking out a 62 year-old man? Let Bobby Bowden kick Spurrier's ****
