They received four prospects.... the Braves traded five prospects for Mark Teixeira.... that's the going rate.... but they have to be top level prospects that you'd prefer not to part with, not also rans parked in AAA....

Seeing as how you feel that trading barely servicable major leaguers and second tier prospects for a Cy Young pitcher and a servicable major leaguer with a big contract would be in Toronto's best interests.... I felt that snide and sarcastic comments were pretty much mandatory....

Maybe they could trade Halladay for Wang then.... seeing as how apparently, in your mind, the Jays are ready to essentially give away their biggest asset .... rather than, say, use him to pick up a number of prospects for rebuilding....

Starting pitchers will break your heart often.... a nagging arm injury and their season is toast.... five years can be an eternity when carrying a Hampton type contract....
