What a great story, "Final All Star Game in Yankee Stadium History" Unfortunately, Yankee Stadium is in New York-A place with the most classless people on the Earth. You know, I read these comments and they all seem to be forgetting one thing. It's all about the MONEY. I don't think the ownership of either the Evil Empire or Red Sox Nation or any other major league sports team really gives a crap about winning except that winning equates to more money. Win or lose, the Yankees acquiring the Rocket simply means to George, et al, that they're gonna have more money.
To us, the average baseball fan, it's about winning, in fact, for some of us, we would give our own lives or firstborn son to win. But, really, now. It's 2007, and it's all about the money.
