Well, answer me this one, o great minds of Fannation...if he was such a great offensive powerhouse...what happened to him and the rest of the Mavericks last year? Where was this great offensive explosion last year? Just askin...
One other thing...defense wins championships. And while the Jet is a very capable offensive player, I've yet to hear of him being a defensive juggernaut, so killing the Lakers/Heat is probably a whole lotta noise about....nothing.
"Jet" is a good player, but "killing" the Heat and the Lakers is gonna be a whole lot more difficult than he thinks. The Celtics just don't have the personnel to do that. They won't be able to handle the Lakers since they now have Howard and Nash; they couldn't handle the Lakers with Bynum, Gasol, and Odom, so adding Howard and Nash just pushed the Lakers well past the re-furbished Celtics. As for the Heat, they can't run with them. Jet is NOT a defensive player; who could he guard? Wade? Not....James? Pleeeeaaassseee....Ray? Maybe...just don't see his team doing all that well against either one of those teams, but like they say, "that's why we play the game..."
Just had to smack you back after you clocked me in the nugget with those rights and lefts....now you KNEW I wasn't going to take that and not say nothing...c'mon, maayynnn..
That's even leaving off guys like Sydney Moncrief, who was a stellar guard that often got pushed into playing point because they didn't have anybody else. Or AI, and all those sorry Philly teams he got stuck playing with.
Isaiah (sigh) deserves his spot in the Hall as a player, but as a coach/manager/general manager/front office geekloid...nada
Captain suddenly screams from the intense pain in his rectum, tries to turn around to see what is paining him so badly, only to realize it's Eagle Guy's size 16 boot rammed up his sphincter minus lubrication...
Say what you want...I do NOT like Thomas...he was definitely good, and very skilled, but to me, he was Westbrook's predecessor...I would take Oscar, Magic, and Stockton, Nash, or JKidd over Thomas, personally. Maybe it IS that bull crap he pulled in New York to submarine that franchise that is clouding my judgment; I don't know. I'll have to think about this one...
Isaiah was skilled, no doubt. But to ME, he wasn't a very good shooter, and he was a score-first kind of guard; didn't really get his team mates involved that much. He was busy trying to outshine that brilliant star that was glowing in LA. He was always trying to be something that, to me, he wasn't. Took away from his luster, to me....

The Curator is OUT.
