Peterson was a great draft pick, but he's injury prone. And he proved it again last week. The Vikes had a chance to take a QB in the first round, but didn't....until the 7th, when they passed on Chris Leak and others to take a QB from Coastal Carolina (who didn't even make their roster).
Listen up, Brad! We NEED a top QB for the future!! Jackson is not the man for the job. Stop thinking with your Philly brain and start drafting smart.
Whoever said the game should be about fun obviously hasn't been paying attention for the last...oh, 10+ years? It's not about fun, it's about money.
And when the paychecks start to get affected by the bad behavior, maybe that will change.
I do agree that their season is pretty much over...they're just playing it out now for draft picks and respect.
So go out there and win, Rex. Just gives my Vikings higher draft placement. (I'm under no illusion that they're going to pull anything out this season either)
Give it to someplace with good soccer roots. Miami, with their diverse culture, would be an obvious choice.
St Louis? That doesn't make sense to me, given how close that would be to KC. Indy would make more sense. So would MN. Somewhere in the Southwest, like Phoenix, would also make sense to me.
