I agree with one thing that Butler said: Romo is overrated. He throws a bunch of deep balls (with all the time in the world thanks to a great offensive line) to a great receiving corps, then receives all the accolades. Let him call his own plays, call more audibles, and quit choking in big games...let the Cowgirls actually WIN a playoff game. Then, and then only, should he even be mentioned in the same breath as Manning or Brady.

Al Franken was right. Rush is a big fat idiot. He persecuted drug addicts, then goes to rehab and was busted for illegal prescriptions; he fights for the sancticty of marraige and moral character, - while he is on his 4th marraige. He even served his 1st wife divorce papers while she was hospitalized undergoing chemotherapy. He is a liar and a cheat. He spews hate and alarms people through exaggeration and the twisting of facts. He is a pus-filled blister on the backside of America.

Look at Coughlin's ideals and you will respect him more and more. He demands cohesiveness, hard work, and the team first concept. Shockey isn't about any of those things. The team finally rallied around it's leadership when Shockey went out...and they started to roll. He is a good player....but you can have all the talent in the world and still be detrimental to your team if yo have a me-first attitude. Shockey was a pus filled blister on Coughlin's butt.

The new CBA should make rules saying that a player who sits out, does not get paid, can not be waived, can not be traded to another team, and can not play for another team until his current contract expires. If that player does not report to and participate in camp, he goes on the suspended - does not count against the salary cap category. These jerks sign a contract, then get miffed cuz someone else got more money. I say don't pay them at all, and don't let them play anywhere else if they do not want to honor their contract.
