Dude made Phoenix relevant while having shooting %'s of 50/40/90 - one of only 4 or 5 guys to do so - and lead the league in assists - in an offense that completely revolved around him. He deserved the award. Get over it.
melo is a one dimensional fighter...throw a slap and back peddle while hoping his teammates jump in. and that pretty much sums up his game on the court. throw up a bad shot late in the clock and back peddle down to the other end to watch everyone else play defense.
nah manti will be more aj hawk. if hawk had gone where manti did he would be considered a better value-player...instead he went 5th overall and should be considered disappointing.
i dont think bosworth was a bad player...if i remember he had shoulder problems before he was drafted. hard to blame a guy that never got a fair shake
the way the eligibility rules are set up and with a lack of quality players youre just as good picking in the 2nd half of the first round as the lottery.
seems to me a bunch of thin skinned lakers fans cant handle some ribbing. if cavs fans want to rip the lakers its not a big deal...we all know who has the better franchis. even if they wont admit it.
over half the league make the playoffs including teams with losing records...making the playoffs in the nba doesnt mean much of anything.
as for cleveland theyre a great sports city. id be upset if my teams couldnt do anything right...its easy to be a fan when you just follow superstar players and root for the best teams. i like their loyalty.
never said anything about quitting. im just a realist and they're not winning a title with or without rose this season. putting him out there just to appease fans and teammates - for whatever thats worth - is beyond insane.
there's plenty to learn from just being in this situation...and it might help make the team better in the long run.

but i still think the lottery is mostly crap. all ya have to do is watch 1 minute of the garbage called college basketball.
wrong place wrong time.

okc got lucky guys just fell into their laps. could have just as easily ended up with oden and other busts. crapshoot.
and it has been fun watching them squirm. like dj saying the series was still up in the air going back to staples...and then back to the excuses.

whats your thoughts? seemed kind of surprising.

and with how they have drafted they will be back soon enough.
cleveland has had that success before and im sure theyd like to experience it again. that much time between can make one bitter.
