You wanted the rotation I gave it to you. And if you don't know who Nova is then don't initiate a discussion about pitching rotations because you clearly don't even know how is in the mix. I am well aware Hughes was inconsistent. And you are right Burnett was consistent...at being horrible.

That last spot is flexible the Yanks have a couple of young starting pitchers who had great seasons last year. I go with Nova for now because he has experience. The thing that scares me about Nova though is he would do great the first two times through the lineups but the third look would get shellacked.

As a Yankee fan I have myself considered the Favre/Pettite comparison but right from the get-go I dismiss it entirely. And it isn't even a walking out on a contract basis. Favre occupies one single position. His waffling on coming back or not severely effects whatever team he is toying with. Pettitte occupies one of five jobs on his team. And if he doesn't come back there is an entire minor league system of guys who while certainly not as good are there to step up. The impact each player has while deciding on whether to play or not is very different.
