Posted Tuesday October 07, 2008, About: Marbury OKs bench role
Since when does a coach need the permission of a self-centered, me-first malcontent scrub to bring him off the bench?
Posted Tuesday October 07, 2008, About: Braves to make run at Peavy
Peavy would help all 30 teams. If Santana and Sabathia can get dealt, so can Peavy.
Posted Tuesday October 07, 2008, About: Will Brewers keep Sveum?
Hargrove would be a good choice. So would Bobby Valentine. Sveum will have to wait.
Posted Thursday October 02, 2008, About: Josh Howard: I'm an idiot
We all agree: He is an idiot.
Posted Thursday October 02, 2008, About: Padres open to offers for Peavy
If I was a GM, I'd want him on my team.
Posted Sunday September 28, 2008, About: Hawks may put Bibby on market
I cannot imagine why the Hawks would trade him.
Posted Sunday September 28, 2008, About: Cashman wants to return to Yankees
One of the easiest jobs in sports, my friends. You have the biggest payroll in professional sports. Anyone with any knowledge of baseball could do a passable job. Thus, Cashman.
Posted Sunday September 28, 2008, About: Big changes in San Diego?
San Diego went into this season with an outfield of Edmonds, Giles and Hairston. What exactly did management think was going to happen? Yeah, they need a makeover.
Posted Sunday September 28, 2008, About: Three teams lining up for Lowe?
This guy could help about 30 teams in baseball. He is the consummate professional pitcher, and is valuable in many roles. He's not great, but I'd want him on my team.
Posted Sunday September 28, 2008, About: Why Dodgers must re-sign Manny
This guy should get nothing more than a one-year deal, ever. That way he stays motivated to keep his paycheck coming. What he did to the Red Sox this season is shameful. The fact that the team met with Theo to get rid of him speak volumes. Volumes!
Posted Saturday September 27, 2008, About: Blazers won't sign Livingston
Why don't the Heat sign this guy? Maybe a good team like the Spurs that could let him rehab and come back slowly.
Posted Saturday September 27, 2008, About: Beasley, Chalmers express remorse
I just get so damn tired of hearing about these overprivileged dumbass athletes who don't appreciate the opportunities they get.
Posted Saturday September 27, 2008, About: Jays won't join bidding war for Burnett
I would beware of this guy. He's pretty good, but nothing more than a 2-year deal. A team that is desperate for pitching, such as the Yankees, would be the most likely destination.
Posted Saturday September 27, 2008, About: White Sox want to extend GM
Williams seems to be an okay GM. I'd keep him around a while. The Sox won the Series in '05, and are in the hunt this year. He's made some good moves, and a few poor ones, but overall done well. What's the problem?
Posted Saturday September 27, 2008, About: Source: M's players hate Ichiro
Where there's smoke, there's usually a little fire. Ichiro apparently is a turd in terms of being a team player. Maybe others are jealous of him. But you know what... Reggie Jackson was the biggest aszhole to ever put on a baseball uniform, and his teams won.

If the Mariners had performed better this year, you wouldn't be hearing any of this.
Posted Saturday September 27, 2008, About: Woman G.M. for the Mariners?
Seattle was a World Series pick this year! This year! What happened? They have some talent, but it's time to rebuild this thing. If a chick can do it, let her. Hire the best person for the job, regardless of gender.
Posted Saturday September 27, 2008, About: Roy Williams on the way out?
The Lions stink. They fired Millen. It's time to admit that they made an error in hiring him, that most of the guys Millen brought in were errors, and blow up this team.
Posted Wednesday September 24, 2008, About: Steinbrenner rips MLB playoff system
Hank Steinbrenner is a big-mouth assbag. His team has the highest payroll in the sport, yet didn't make the playoffs. Cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it.
Posted Sunday September 21, 2008, About: Many teams covet Dodgers' Lowe
He would be great for a lot of teams as a No. 2 or 3 guy.
Posted Sunday September 21, 2008, About: Marlins players critical of team
I agree with CardsFan2. We've tried two teams in Canada, now let's look in the other direction.
Posted Sunday September 21, 2008, About: Will Nolan shake up the Rangers?
I absolutely love Nolan Ryan. My son's name is even Nolan. But I'm not sure if he's the right guy for this. So far, so good, though. The Rangers have produced good pitchers in the last few years... problem is, they all pitch for other teams (Edinson Volquez, Chris Young, John Danks for example). One signing, one trade and some good draft picks could make a huge difference.
