angelo is a bumbling idiot. he has ignored the qb position because he refused to see what the entire league saw in rex grossman, he sucks. but still through horrible game after horrible game angelo and smith refused to get rex out of there. angelo and smith are the same morons that allowed thomas jones to leave in favor of cedric benson as well. imagine the tandom of thomas jones and forte??? to me, angelo (gm) and smith (head coach) are the two positions that need to be "solidified".
orton is a decent qb that can lead the bears to some wins, but until they admit that they need a number 1 WR and address the o-line issues they'll toil in mediocracy.

Jerry Angelo is a freakin idiot. I will admit that Kyle Orton is no Tom Brady, but the guy is a decent QB. Angelo is blind to realize that the main issue of the Bears offense this year was a lack of a #1 WR. Over the last 5 games the WR core dropped a TON of balls that would have been first downs or more.
Angelo has been ignoring the WR position for way too long. Orton is a serviceable QB that knows the system. Give him a decent WR he will improve. I really don't see Cassel coming to Chicago as he would only have Forte as a weapon. And frankly, Ron Turner is no Bill Belichick. McNabb isn't leaving Philly after the Cowboy beat down.
The Bears should draft a WR. They have a good QB in the making on the bench in Caleb Hanie out of Colorado State.
