Posted Monday January 28, 2008, About: Fassel or Spagnuolo in D.C.?
The scary thing is, I still thank my lucky stars that Al Davis doesn't own the Redskins.
Posted Friday December 14, 2007, About: Reports: Kiffin wanted Arkansas job
Jabril - or maybe he would have gone to the NFL to get that fat check, knowing that he could easily jump back to college as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Thank you Nick Saban.
Posted Friday December 14, 2007, About: Redskins' Randle El taking snaps
Hey Loki - guess who holds the Redskins' rushing record.

It'd be fun to see Randle El play some Q, but I know by now that being a good passer in college has no bearing on your NFL potential.
Posted Monday December 10, 2007, About: Mavs' Nowitzki stepping aside?
more non-news from T & R. I'm pretty sure Nowitzki doesn't ACTUALLY think he has to step aside to make room for Howard.
Posted Tuesday November 13, 2007, About: Dolphins souring on Lemon
Hey Durrell - I don't know when Brady found out about the pregnancy, but the world didn't find out about it until after he started dating Bundchen. And he's been good to Moynahan and the baby, to all appearances. Please get your facts straight.
Posted Thursday November 01, 2007, About: Kitna explains naked coach costume
I have much more respect for Jon Kitna now. Unless he ends up calling a press conference and apologizing.
Posted Tuesday October 16, 2007, About: Coach: Vikes-Bucs trade 50-50
The Bucs will do anything they can to get Earnest Graham back to #3 on the depth chart - they definitely got Bennett, but if they can get a deal for Moore, why not?
Posted Monday October 08, 2007, About: Moss discusses God, role models
I don't think we'll ever find out if Randy's changed for real. The only thing that will convince us is if his team isn't doing well and he steps up as a leader and speaks encouraging words. That will never happen, because the Patriots will never be "not doing well."
Posted Wednesday October 03, 2007, About: Wizards center's career in danger
This isn't how I wanted to get rid of him, that's for sure. I was sick of the locker room chemistry issues between him and Haywood, and someone had to go, but not like this. I wish him the best.
Posted Tuesday October 02, 2007, About: Grossman to replace Vick in Atlanta?
It wouldn't be a band-aid on a bullet wound; that's giving Grossman too much credit. It would be more like putting a post-it note on an amputated arm.
Posted Tuesday October 02, 2007, About: Grossman to replace Vick in Atlanta?
Grossman has hope with only three teams: Detroit, Green Bay, and Minnesota. They would use him not to play quarterback, but to give inside info on the Bears. And all three could use a third- or fourth-stringer.
Posted Thursday September 27, 2007, About: Grossman surprised, frustrated
This just in: when you perform your job unsatisfactorily, you lose it.
Posted Wednesday September 26, 2007, About: How to prevent more cheating
Offenses don't have just one helmet wired for radio - the backup QB's is too, right? So why not have the MLB and the backup MLB wired the same way? And if they don't send in either on a certain play, that's their own dang fault and they can send the play in with a sub or use signals like they always have.
Posted Friday September 21, 2007, About: Ex-Jet criticizes Kitna's return
The doctors claim they followed procedure and that Kitna was fine to play. I agree that if there's a God who cared about the Lions winning a game, he wouldn't have allowed the concussion in the first place, so I don't buy this miracle garbage. Concussions are still largely a mystery, and maybe in a few years we'll have an answer for how one could recover so quickly. But I believe the doctors and Kitna when they say he was, in fact, recovered.
Posted Thursday September 06, 2007, About: Dolphins name starting RB
Come on, Chatman, prove I'm a genius!
Posted Friday August 31, 2007, About: Rams to kick tires on sacker
What a weird headline.
Posted Friday August 31, 2007, About: NFL thinking relocation for L.A.
PackBrew, you're right on, except you didn't mention Skins-Cowboys, which is the meanest rivalry in football.

There won't be any realigning because the current system has arranged the divisions into perfect groups of rivalries. The NFC East and North and the AFC West and North are the best examples - all four teams in each division hate each other. The AFC East is a little tamer, but there are still very good rivalries. The other divisions kind of got the leftovers, but they have formed enmity over the past few years thanks to the system.
Posted Friday August 24, 2007, About: Movement in Raiders-Russell talks
How can anyone think whether or not he'll get a ROSTER SPOT is a concern for Russell? Of course he'll get a roster spot, it just might be 3rd. No way they'd release him.
Posted Friday August 24, 2007, About: Jets trade disgruntled guard
And Kendall is the latest Jetskin. I prayed this day would come - what a great pickup. Thanks for finally starting to do things right, Snyder.
Posted Thursday August 23, 2007, About: Did HBO help to end LJ's holdout?
God forbid someone finds out they're missed. There has to be a story actually worth reporting out there, come on.
Posted Wednesday August 08, 2007, About: Redskin to marry ex-cheerleader
I really hope someone said to them "Please hand in your halter tops." With a straight face. You go Cooley.
