Yeah, I agree with what Jim is saying. Griffin is the bigger fighter and he won't get tired. If Shogun doesn't knock him out in the first (not likely) he'll lose the fight.
But this is coming from a guy who said Lesnar was unbeatable. And while Lesnar is a specimen, his striking is suspect. Therefore, Cain whipped his ass.
I do maintain that he rushed to gain position on the ground though. He left an opening and Cain got back to his feet. Had Lesnar held him there and proceeded slowly it might have been a different story.
So you are saying the Mir that just beat Nog, relatively speaking, is the same Mir that broke Tim Sylvia's arm?
Dumb.
Mir was purely a grappler with suspect striking before his accident. But, like any other sport, he improved his game. He started boxing and it showed in that Nog fight.
But he wouldn't have striking back then. So you don't know what the **** you're talking about. #JustSaying
I would have LOVED the 1200 limit in that last argument though. I had it at 1183 with perfection. But I had to chop 60 characters off, so it doesn't hit quite as hard.
Or both.
And I don't think Ortiz DESERVES a shot, but he'll probably get one. I would think he should have to beat at least one more top guy.
Let him fight the winner of Shogun/Griffin 2, or Machida. THEN he'll DESERVE a title shot.
But like I said, Ortiz on the banner going for his belt will be $$$$$$$$$$$$.

However, the fighters have caught up with him, and he's fighting out of weight class.
But if you lost to Fedor when he was on fire, you lost to the best. He's not the best anymore. Happens to ALL athletes in ALL sports.
I said Munoz was outstruck by Maia and Maia is no striker. Meaning, he (Munoz) isn't that good if he can be outstruck by someone he can't throw hands.
Great TD.
