Of COURSE they should. A playoff should be a forum for the best teams to play each other to see who is the best, and deserving champion. Including some, but severely handicapping them, is ridiculous and counter-productive.

Actually, it IS fair. It's just not in keeping with the tradition of sports. The best teams already get to play the worst teams in the first round, shouldn't that be enough?

I agree. Football, and ESPECIALLY basketball, pander to the uninterested masses, with varying degrees of success. There are more than enough fans of the game, and timing the pitches, taking away the back and forth with the runner and the like, will make the game shorter, but not as fun. It's idiotic.

I completely disagree. Either don't allow them into the playoffs, or give them a fair shake. Letting them in, but severely handicapping them is completely idiotic.

I don't like the idea... having a title game that's a rematch is irrational, and it's ridiculously discriminatory to shut an undefeated Boise out of the title game to set up a sec-servicing title game.
