Oh and C-smith,Roethlisberger was "thrust in the spotlight" his rookie year.He is a passer who can not only read defences but,he can read period!
Posted Tuesday September 09, 2008, About: Did Young quit on Titans?
Mike Vick and Vince Young and every other QB who was the best athlete on the team since 6th grade have never HAD to throw the ball until they hit the NFL.We can't fault them for not being able to pass,we have to blame the idiots who wasted a draft pick on them!I saw Young play in college, how could anyone think that would translate to the NFL?If you want to win in the NFL,you are eventually going to have to throw accurately down the field,Vick couldn't do it and neither can Young. If someone is dumb enough to trade for him,I say cut him loose and get a passer. The Titans really blew it by not taking Cutler when they had the chance.(Arizona also made a bad pick)
Posted Monday September 08, 2008, About: Patriots to look at Simms, Rattay
It would appear the Pats' are headed back to mediocrity for awhile. The age of most of their defence and the ijury to Brady will most likely result in an early exit from the playoffs(on the road).I guess they are sorry they didn't give some backups a little more experience when they were running up the scores trying to get the TD record. As much as I dislike the Pats',it is sad to lose Brady but Bilecheck had a large chunk of karma that finally paid off.You will now see that O'Connel (3rd string) will be a future stud.
Posted Tuesday August 19, 2008, About: Wild won't rule out Gaborik trade
The "Pens signed the #1 scorer from the Finnish Elite league to possibly play with Crosby but, Gaborik would be very sweet.(I'm still pissed Hossa left, those guys would have been awesome with a whols season together)
Posted Sunday August 17, 2008, About: Injury keeps Brady off Pats flight
If you want to see the true genius behind the Pats' success watch the best QB drafted this past April.Kevin O'Connell will be a stud pro bowler for some team in the very near future.Unlike most teams, the Pats' actually evaluate players based on performance and potential and not by listening to ESPN "experts" and draft "gurus".(the same ones who get bums like V. Young drafted ahead of Cutler)
Posted Friday August 15, 2008, About: Judge: Vick's estate in disarray
I'm sorry Antonio but do you still believe we are "all created equal?"WRONG!!We are conceived the same way and that is where it ends. How many non blacks are involved with dog fighting?Whatever they lack upstairs that makes torturing dogs a sport is a unique "quality" to blacks. Most bad quarterbacks in the NFL are white, but they don't destroy other living beings lives. That is a major difference, respect for others.By the way,how well is Africa doing with their governing civilization? No violence in any of those countries right?Compare with Scandanavian nations and you would have to agree that saying we are all equal is a myth.Like saying Vick was a good QB!
Posted Friday August 15, 2008, About: Judge: Vick's estate in disarray
GhosTown, you must hanging out and smoking with Vick's "friends" if you think for 1 second the Steelers would consider giving a thug with ZERO moral character a chance. They cut players for much less damaging infractions than killing and torturing 77 dogs and being involved with drug dealers and the other sleazes he runs with. The only team that might be good for Vick would be the Bloods or Crips. He has no brain for any other profession and he studied their "playbook" on the street corners of Newport News while his mother sold herself for crack.
Posted Wednesday August 06, 2008, About: Big Ten bashing comes into vogue
no "marino4530" I didn't forget the Michigan game I simply didn't count them. They lost to a team who wasn't even in their DIVISION,let alone conference, at home. What else are you going to say cake boy?Want to tell me how good Penn State was 20 years ago,or what a power house Notre Dame is, even though they haven't won a bowl game since "94.Live in the present!Big 11 football is not nearly as good on the field as in your feeble little mid-west minds. Not your fault...most athletes want to go someplace nice for school and that huge section of america between Pittsburgh and the Rockies is going to continue to slide.
Posted Wednesday August 06, 2008, About: Lawyer: Pacman fabricated story
Whether pac man lied or not,the funny part is that he is such a **** that any jury would side with Edwards.I sure would given Jones' lack of character.Reminds me of Vick, who was of course completely innocent until 4 of his "peeps" were going to testify. This will be Jones' last year in the NFL,and should be his last year as a free man.
Posted Wednesday August 06, 2008, About: Big Ten bashing comes into vogue
If NCAA D-1 settled their championship on the field OSU would not be the target of all this bashing.Last year they lost to Illinois and their next game was in the "title game",against a team that lost to Kentucky!Come on....I thought Ohio State just paid their thugs("student" athletes)now it would appear they have some interesting photos of the NCAA brass.

p.s.They do know that there are 11 teams in the Big 10 conference right?
Posted Tuesday August 05, 2008, About: Notre Dame investigating Clausen
What an ambarrasment for Notre Dame and America!Every other country in the world must be laughing at us again. What in the hell is the sense behind a law denying citizens to legally drink booze until the age of 21?I grew up overseas and the drinking age was 16 at the bars but we all drank at each others houses and when I went to school in Fla. I was shocked at the maturity level. There were 18 year olds who acted like 12 where I am from. But,I guess when your entire population watches TV instead of reading, and they ban sex but promote violence you have the backwards,**** up violent, ignorant, society typical in a society that believes in religion.Like Notre Dame. It's ok for a priest to molest 6 year old kids as long as the kids don't grow up and drink before they turn 21.

First of all,C.Rice was hired because she was an executive with Chevron,as were most of our Moron in Cheif's cabinet.(ex-oil guys)And if minorities think republicans are good to them why don't they vote for them?Republicans hate everybody who isn't wealthy, white or believe the earth isn't 6000 years old.Wan't to solve America's problem......nuke the republican convention.
Posted Wednesday July 30, 2008, About: Is Joe Pa in trouble at Penn State?
Yes,Miami and FSU have made great improvements with their players behavior, just look at their wonl lost totals in the last 5 yrars.
Posted Wednesday July 30, 2008, About: Is Joe Pa in trouble at Penn State?
boston.com has a list in the editorial/opinion section that lists colleges where the graduation rate is below 50% for football players.(Ohio State is the worst with 32%,they might have a good team!)It reads like a tyoical top 25 list.
Posted Wednesday July 30, 2008, About: Is Joe Pa in trouble at Penn State?
How is this shocking? With $10 million of tax free cash on the line in a bowl game the pressure is on the program to produce a team that will get invited to one.(remember, unlike all other divisions,D1 does not settle championships on the field)Penn State has been very average for a long time and the school wants some pay days.Schools that accept actual student athletes can't really compete year after year with the programs that recruit out of the juvie halls and prisons.Ever hear a LSU player talk after a game?Do you relly believe the Vince Youngs or Mike Vicks could get into ANY college based on academics? If you want massive bowl game dough you have to give bags of cash and gold chains to recruits and don't be surprised when they get popped for breaking the law. They have been granted favors and had people look the other way their whole life because they help the team.
Posted Monday July 28, 2008, About: Pennington wants Favre closure
Han anyone heard if Favre is only interested in going to a contender?
Posted Sunday July 27, 2008, About: Packers: Rodgers will start in '08
I think the 'Pack are very interested to see if Rodgers can play since they did draft him in the first round and Favre's retirement was very convienvent. There is now only one option for the "Pack and that is to trade his ****.Even though Rodgers will probably get injured and Favre will get to play,it would be bad juju having him around as a back up.(when Rodgers goes down you will see Brohm show why he will start in '09)Trade Favre to Miami, they lost 6 games by 3 points or less, they will have a decent run game and Henne would be better off with Favre showing him the ropes. They also have the cap space, which very few teams do and a real need for box office pop.Tampa will continue their up and down record and they have nobody for him to throw too.(who the hell would want to be around Gruden and his massive ego?About time for him to go to another contender and run it into the ground).Go to Miami if you want to start,it's a short flight home.

Posted Wednesday July 23, 2008, About: Bengals Johnson & Lewis make up
Tough call in the offseason for the Bungles too not trade him and call his bluff but, with their defense I would have jumped on a 1st round pick from the 'Skins. When they understand how much of a longshot a playoff run is with this prison farm team they will deal him.
Posted Wednesday July 23, 2008, About: Lewis: Bengals don't want Henry
Have the Bengals figured out that drafting **** thugs who can't read or speak english do not help the team?Amazing that a multi-million dollar business would continue to give future convicts a chance in a sport where all 22 players on the field need to have desire and character. The Brown family should sell the team and start an NBA franchise instead.
Posted Tuesday July 22, 2008, About: Braves trading Teixeira to Angels?
The Braves better get some serious talent because they will also be getting rid of Chipper Jones' bat as teams pitch around him. This would be the proverbial towel being tossed.
