Quit being a whinny ****... Fischer wants to audit the books to show everyone if things are straight... Hunter is against it. Makes Hunter look guilty... enough said.
As for contribution, tangible and intangible, Fischer still has an impact, or he wouldn't still be playing.
Just trying to let substance abuse leave his system... 7.7 million. Sounds like a Warren Sapp sap-song... these guys train to play a gladiator sport... suit up, play, get paid!!! Not getting ready for his job is like most of us showing up to work in running shorts and a muscle shirt... it just ain't acceptable. I wish I could tell my employer.... wwhhhaaaaaaaa I want a raise or I am not doing... fill in the blank... CAN HIS ****!! and all those spoiled multi-millionaires. Someone else will step up and fill their shoes. They always do. As for Brees... if his is being 'disrespected', then play somewhere else... he would definitely be paid accordingly since there are only 6-7 elite QBs in the league of 32 teams.
I feel better now that I have vented.... PLAY BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If they keep messin' with these high profile players... someone is going to take their ball and go home... Brees should keep his eye on the PManning situation and see that he is JUST an employee... with a pissed off employee... they might take the leap to show the ownership they can make a living elsewhere withouth all the stress and need for LOVE...
DAMN UNION & DAMN OWNERS... they can't keep messing with the league and expect things to stay well.
Otis... you hit the nail on the head... I loved Crabtree at Texas Tech... but his post-draft crap really made him out to be just another PUNK... I hope he is over his DIVA complex and makes us Texans proud!
I will pray for you if you have to watch ice skating with your wife... I would rather go out to the yard and pull weeds by hand...
Football is good at most levels... I grew up in Texas and it was nothing to drive 300 miles each way for a high school game on Friday night. College was almost as exciting, and the old UFL was good. The new "minor league" football in the TX/OK area is painful to watch unless you view it as sand lot league... some football is better than no football... in most cases.... anyway... see you in the yard.
With a new CBA on the horizon, it is hard to tell what value any FA would have a year out or if the value would be more after they are deemed Free Agents... just speculation at this point...
We keep thinking that the players will be willing to agree to a new CBA this year... if not, the 'scabs' will be back to pay some of the bills... not my first wish... but at least football will be on TV... maybe the Union Lawyers will all get fired and we can get the players the money they want and a parole officer assigned to each for a cool $65K a year vs. the 6.5 mil the agents get.
50... here you go again bashing the owners... if the crime ridden players were such model and deserving citizens, they would be happy with what they earn, and should agree that rookies are overpaid while the vast majority of veterans are underpaid... that said, why do the players and their supporters believe they deserve equality in pay with the owners??? did you parents let all the kids divvy up their salary to make it fair for the kids to have what they wanted... I think not! The players are employees... nothing more... they deserve a FAIR salary... not a get rich quick scheme that pays them for sitting out games, faking injuries, going to jail, and being jerks for the most part. I like football, and want it back soon, but if these employees cannot be good employees, then can them and bring in replacements... it may be a cut in entertainment, but at least we will have entertainment... let the games begin!
If the players "beefed up at the buffet" and couldn't perform... I bet a million that "scab" would be hired as an improved product to put on the field.
Let the players do this and it would KILL them... the owners would bring in "replacement players" who would then get the money... now that is CAPITALISM... the way America was meant to do business!!!
He didn't learn when he lost his Sr. season at OSU... he won't learn until "big bubba" feeds him tube steak 3-times a day in the pen... only then will he get how good life was to him!
As for contribution, tangible and intangible, Fischer still has an impact, or he wouldn't still be playing.
Get over it...
I feel better now that I have vented.... PLAY BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now, the NFL is supporting a "functioning" CFL... at least they are still working/playing!
Dolemite... the two entirely different topics you bring up are only linked to eachother in a very broad way... it is called law and economics...
Your rant is slavaciouly bias and not very intelligent...
