True. It's just funny to me how Republicans tout how much they looooove the Constitution and yet seem perfectly willing to wipe their **** with those parts of it they find inconvenient (you know, like religious freedom, even for those religions they hate and want to persecute). Don't get me wrong, I think all religions are bull**** and that the world would be a better place without a bunch of unthinking dopes muttering to some bull**** god and giving their money to some child molester-enabler in Rome or some slimy Sunday morning televangelist.
I hope I haven't offended anyone :-) Peace Love and Revolution
Speaking of Republican bigotry...check out Herman Cain...
>>>Herman Cain traveled to Murfreesboro, Tenn., this month to make common cause with residents who are protesting the construction of an Islamic center there. The center, he said, is not "an innocent mosque," because, he claimed, its supporters are trying to sneak Shariah law into American law.
He told Fox News that any community has the right to ban a mosque, because "Islam is both a religion and a set of laws, Shariah law," he said. "That's the difference between any one of our other traditional religions where it???s just about religious purposes."
Of course, Catholicism, Judaism, and many other faiths are structured around religious laws. Shariah law, like those laws, pose no danger to the American legal system.<<<
4. tool: someone who is a complete idiot/ one who is used by other people, and usually dosen't even realize it/ someone who can't think for themselves/ an ****.
"We've had 16 years of labor peace. That's unprecedented in baseball history,"
That's because the players have won everything there is to win in the labor wars. Unless the owners are willing to go to the mattresses over free agency and a salary cap, then yes, I'm sure the players are just fine with the status quo.
Funny, everyone on this board would have eviscerated Twins management if they hadn't signed Mauer. Now, he has spent a few months on the DL and the same a holes are eviscerating Twins management for signing one of the best hitters in the game and the face of the franchise. Your hindsight is 20/20 and your foresight is cr@p.
With Carlos Guillen coming back and Ryan Raburn playing a passable second base, the glaring weakness of the Tigers right now is at third. Brandon Inge is not a respectable major league player anymore.
He is a fan favorite and has a long tenure with the team, he just isn't any good anymore. By adding Jose Reyes, the Tigers could shift breakout shortstop Jhonny Peralta to third and add Reyes to the top of the order.
This move would raise the Tigers' batting average on the left side of the infield by over 100 points.
Uh, I'm going to give the ball in the 9th to the pitcher who is going to get me the save, be it Nathan or Capps or Perkins. If Capps sucks, and continues to suck, who am I going to trade him and his fat paycheck to and for what?
Paychecks have nothing to do with it. Capps has had six blown saves this year. Give the ball in the ninth to whoever can get the outs. And that has not been Capps. Lately.
