You're right, Penn State NEVER plays non-FBS schools. Except in 2006. And 2008. Oh, and 2010.

It must really bug you all the lower-division games schools like USC, UCLA, UW and Notre Dame keep scheduling, right? Seeing as we're keeping our facts straight and all.

You have an odd definition of "back-pedaling".

Here is some perspective:

I don't understand the problem with this. Everyone is turning Pete into some kind of Straw Man here. Pete has never told a star junior who he thought was ready to go that he shouldn't go. Anyone remember Kenechi Udeze and Lofa Tatupu?

Sanchez said when he signed at USC that his main reasoning was to be under Pete's guidance with regard to NFL matters. He then completely disregarded that guidance when Pete told him the truth - the very thing Sanchez wanted him to do in the first place!

Seems the only one looking out for number one was number six.
