Are they now? No. Do they plan to? yes. But then the UFC will be helping fighters secure promotional opportunities as well. Major sports do that, as well as regulate what sponsors appear on broadcasts so they are in line with the overall company(or league). Does this mean no more ads for Condom Depot? Maybe :)

Lotsa uninformed people here. PrettyBoyFloyd has considered MMA for a year now. He almost aligned himself with Cuban for HDNet fights, at first to train, then to fight down the road. And boxers CAN transition to MMA. Marcus Davis, who lost for the first time in 12 fights last night, was a golden gloves boxer. IF someone takes training very seriously, then can transition (hell, if Kimbo can transition). And money? PBF needs challenges, not money, and boxing has gotten boring to him.

Not saying it's true. Wait until mmajunkie.com reports on it to see. But daaaaayaaaamn it'd be interesting, and dont rule it out.

Nope, it's Light Heavyweights for the contestants, Heavyweight is just the two coaches. Mir is in shape now, he came back to soon from the accident that nearly killed him. Oh and I wouldnt say Lesnar controlled the fight. They both executed their game plans. Mir knew Lesnar would take him down and knew Lesnar was a beast. He also knew he'd get a hold of a limb.
