I assume your talking field players because I'd put Friedel and Keller above him. For me though, he's still not Claudio Reyna. I think he's right up there but still not at that level. I do think with a good world cup this summer, in my mind, he could pass him but he's not there yet. At the end of his career he may go down as the best usmnt player ever.

I do agree the kid is a winner is though.....

D-Wreck I think your correct. I'm thinking a mid table to lower end EPL side just so he's promised time. I couldnt care less what the team does as long as he is in form come next summer. It's clear he's not going to play at Villarreal with the log jam of forwards they have so he needs to get placed on loan to a side that wants to use him.

It bothers me in the sense that I am super competitive and want to win every tourny we play in. With that said I'm ok with giving these guys, especially the European players, a break and prepare for Mexico. This is the year we knock off Mexico in Azteca and I want them well rested. Also the first game is on 4 of July so our Confederations guys need a break. The real question is whether Freddy will get a legit shot and by looking at the roster I think he will....

Zizou we need him for next summers WC so he need's to be playing now. I also thinking that playing at Azetca wouldnt intimidate him at all and should be used. The kid should be playing and I dont understand why he isnt. If he's being blammed for the Costa Rica goal that is ridicolous because it was a give away from DMB.

The first 30 minutes will be crucial. If we can get through that period 0-0 then we will grow in confidence and create 1 or 2 chances. With that said, we absolutly have to take our chances when they come because there wont be many of them. My heart says we can beat these guys but my head is saying there's too much firepower in Spain...

Kopper do you think his style would fit La Liga? I could see him being sent off a lot there. I really thought the EPL or Bundesliga would be a better fit for him. With that said I'd rather see him in La Liga then at Fenerbache. Did I just contradict myself, haha?

Are you actually being serious with this? Cooper has 0 pace and all the defenders he would play against on an international level are just as strong as he is, therefore he wouldnt be able to hold them off like he does in MLS. Landon has scored 40 international goals, so dont make stupid comments. Just reading some of your posts I have to ask the question, have you ever played the game before?

Guys the reason Kenny wont get time for the Nats is because of his pace. He'd never be able to keep up with the game. It's sad too because if he just had average pace you wouldnt be able to get him out of the national team lineup.

So right now we cant properly defend or attack so why not throw an attacking option in there? If you have a guy that create and hold the ball in the midfield your going to limit the times the other teams go forward and make them respect you going forward. A good offense will help the D because the ball wont be constantly getting shoved down your throat? Plus who has been our D-Mid that's performed for us? Clark? Terrible touch with a worse temper? Kljesten? Who is an offensive minded player? Nope it's been Bradley who has been doing it for us. Pair him with Adu, Bradley holds and goes forward when he sees it and we become creative in the center of the park. I know this is obvious but we cant win games without scoring goals and right now we have no one that can do. Adu can create those chances and is a threat from set pieces....

Why not just drop the 4-5-1 altogether and just play a 4-4-2?

With having essentially 3 center mids they can enterchange when needed and actually add some creativity. Since Feilhaber is a better defending middie you could swith spector and bornstein so there's more coverage for bornstein. The LD bashers should stop, the guy can still play and is one the best that we have.

If he doesnt start both of them, it might be time to start calling for his head. He's been putting out questionable lineups, his in-game tactics have been awful, and the subs have been mind boggling. He talks about Adu not playing and that being the reason why he's left him out but Beasley hasnt been playing and has also been the worst player on the field for the US all summer. He's been pretty directly linked with at least 3 goals and it's time to sit him down. Start Torres on the left and put Adu in the center of the park with Bradley. There's the creativity that we've been looking for and Adu gives us a big time threat from set pieces. I just dont understand what Bradley is doing and right now we're looking at going 0-3 in the WC next summer.....

I have disagree here, MacFarlane was the main person behind the scense for a new stadium. I think he saw the writing on the wall that United will not get a stadium until they move the team. It's sad but I just dont see them getting one...

Buffalo-Next time you watch him in a game pay special attention to the right side of his face. He always kinda blinks and raises his lip. With that said, he's an incredible gk and seems to be an even better person. I love the fact that he will be leading us into at least the next two wc's.

2014 is in Brazil. 2018 will go to England since, by that time, it will be 60 plus years since they have hosted. 2022 will be in the US and I'm pretty sure it's pretty much a done deal at this point. That very well could change if something happens and we have to take over the 2010 or 2014 WC for whatever reason. Being able to go to 4 straight WC's (starting in 2014) and knowing that it will be safe is good to know. I think SA will struggle with getting the projected numbers since security will be an issue....
