Bigger question is how Auburn would be in the top 10, it's a back-up school for most students, but who knows, Forbes wrote the article, I just copied.
1: Notre Dame at $101 million per year
2: Texas at $92 million per year
3: Georgia at $90 million per year
4: Michigan at $85 million per year
5: Florida at $84 million per year
then 5-10, in order: LSU, Tennesse, Bama, Auburn, Ohio St.
I think any of those schools can afford to pay their coaches top dollar, money wouldn't be an issue between coaches at any of those schools.
Oh, and a response to a previous post about not being able to drink alcohol at college football games keeping people more sober; really? Everyone I know and knew throughout college and as an alum would sneak bourbon into games to mix with their drinks due to the fact that they couldn't buy beer in the stadium. Everyone ends up much drunker at a college game than a pro game. When I go to pro games I'll have 2-4 beers, you can't get drunk off of 2-4 beers unless you're under 150lbs, college fans get much crazier with their alcohol consumption than pro fans, plus if you have to pay $8 for a beer you're not as inclined to chug the sucker and get blitzed. Plus at most college stadiums you're close to where you need to go, if you're at a pro stadium you normally have to drive 30+ minutes afterwords, and drinking in excess could have very serious consequences.

The Braves should have a winning record, but probably won't be able to keep pace with Florida or Philly in the east.

Kiffin is just pissed because the top two players in the state went to Athens to enjoy life and be on a good football team instead of playing in front of a sea of orange hunting vest.
Logan Gray was the #6 high school QB when he came out, is a better athlete, but doesn't know the system as well. He'll get his day to start.
Richt needs and will redshirt both freshman QBs this upcoming year. UGA should be better, as long as they can stay healthy (19 were lost to season ending injuries this year). Murray will start sometime during his career at UGA, but he isn't Cox or Gray yet.
