"Coach how are you gonna use Glenn?"
"Well, not as place kicker!"
crickets chirp...a tumbleweed rolls by...then the courtesy laughter begins...
temprano=early
ie in the land run some ppl took off earlier (sooner) than the others.
oso-i didn't know you taught Sarcasm 101! well done
if you had a nickel for every time a talking head dropped the ball...you could buy some fuel for that thar fancy aircraft in your avatar!
i know they beat the packers
but just yesterday there was so much talk about how the boys were kaput now that TO was going to be out and how it would be favre / brady in SB.
i guess my tuition for sarcasm classes was poorly spent. :(
the folks in Norman (and those of us in the diaspora) await some good competition.
they're that good?
romo, to, barber, witten, a huge O line, roy williams, et al arent that shabby and can possibly beat the pack?
im sure they appreciate your vote of confidence, at least to make it to the SB
there are enough players on the team to make big plays.
packers (fans)would do well to take care of business today before counting on home field.
hope DD doesn't have the Jason White syndrome in his knees and gets to play on Sundays.
good point ocpete. no where to really go but up in miami.
but the likelihood of having more success with dallas over the next 5 years over miami seems a lot higher.
although a 3-13 season would be a success in miami...taint much of a success.
i'd like to see oregon get to a bcs bowl, in fact i seriously wanted it to be
OU-UO this year. that would have been grand. too bad our qb's got injured and things took a turn.
is dixon returning next year? if not, those are pretty big Nikes to fill.
Mike Gundy gives you a pat on the rump and says (shouts irately?) "you're 20...keep up the good work!"
as for the story...sad but true=student athletes (for whatever reasons, as there are many) who don't get it done in the class like the do on the field.
A college coach who says he is committed to a school--and apparently means it!
stay with boys with 2 losses and poised to go deep in the playoffs and seemingly have a bright next few years
or go to fins...
i guess everybody has their reasons to go elsewhere (RR, petrino et. al)
as an aside: i find so loathesome the regional coverage and network rules concerning blackouts and what games will be shown in a given market.
maybe santa wil upgrade my cable packet (but will he still pay my car insurance, heating bill, etc)
sorry for the soapbox. good luck with the thumb there tony
that's just plain wrong.
anyone know what drew bledsoe's up to these days? enjoying life hopefully--but is he officially done with professional sports?
"honey pass me the riccolas"
give romo's thumb as much a break (no pun intended) as possible.
TO might not be too happy, but i'd rather stay ahead of Green Bay and get home field than have TO "happy". he has 25 million other reasons anyway.
