Agreed. They shouldnt fire Yeo. I think the goal for the season was to make the playoffs and everything after that would be gravy. Accomplished. Koivu needs a serious gut check though. I don't know where he went in the series.

Well, Toews only had 2 points in the series . I don't hear anyone complaining about him. The facts are that Parise brought leadership and an excellent work ethic to the club. Does that in itself warrant his salary? No, but he had his opportunities and just didn't finish. He did have an excellent regular season as well. As for Suter, I don't think I need to defend his play. He has been worth every penny.

Slow down Wild. So is every team going to go through wholesale changes after the Blackhawks destroy them? As a Wild fan this is about what i expected. Curse me for accepting mediocrity, but a reasonable goal as a fan of the club was to make the playoffs. After the last 5 years of ownership shoveling heaps of shat at us fans in hopes of it turning to mediocrity, it seems to me to be a leap up from the last, well, actually from inception of the franchise. That said, anger aside, the signings of Suter and Parise were really a step in the right direction, as Danny had mentioned, it wasnt their fault this team lost to the probable cup winners. Wait til summer and reevaluate. IMO.

Got to do what you got to do to stay in the game Roamer. Should they get into a skating contest with them to satisfy fans who arent part of their fan base? They'd destroy the Jackets and they are about to destroy the next team they play as well. The talent on the Hawks is phenomenal. No answers for their second / third/ and checking lines. Couple that with an anemic offense and we get a 3-1 deficit. Soon to be 4-1.

Shenanigans. The team made the playoffs last year when everyone thought they wouldnt. Finished a game behind GB for the North title. Had the NFL MVP who had a phenomenal season, the likes of which we may not see again for along time. also, went to the NFC championship in 09. Ok. What am i missing? Compare to that to some other teams of note and thats not bad at all considering the drop off from 09 to the year before last. Actually impressive the way the team came back to being relatice again if i say.

Well said sir. Coildnt agree more. And to add, trading him was a good move as well as a $12MM per year salary hit on a player who plays the WR position like an RB is not a real wise investment IMO. Good luck though and good luck to SEA.
