Agreed....he's the Webster's definition of an enigma. You saw that season in 2011, arguably, one of the greatest seasons I have ever seen from a player. He was incredible, almost 1967 Yaz-like and should have won the MVP...that's another argument for another day...but the kid has done zilch since...he remains a blue chip base stealer but and a very good defensive player but he's displayed no pop since 2011...I don't think he's helping himself ....Scott Boras can spin him any way he wants but teams are not coming to the table with boatloads of cash...unless of course, it's Theo or the Dodgers...

If you watch the C's on a consistent basis, you will notice he's quickly getting his legs and game back...kudos to Doc for sticking with hi...remember, this guy had major heart surgery just a year ago....the deal, long term, will prove to be a steal for the C's....Perk is terrible..and he's getting paid 7.8 million bucks, for less than 6 points and rebounds a game. What a country.

Agreed....what I love about the narcissitic fan base is they're calling for Cherrington's head because this deal hasn't been consumated...and if he didn't perform due dilligence and signed the guy to 3 years, when he inevitably broke down, that same fan base would be pissing and moaning that Ben did indeed sign him for 3 years.
