Posted Sunday November 22, 2009, About: Yankees, Red Sox to fight for Lackey?
If the Yanks go out and sign Holliday and Lackey I am through with baseball.
Posted Sunday November 22, 2009, About: Clausen, Tate mum on Notre Dame future
My, my, the ND fans are testy today. Take you wrath out on Charlie Tuna, not those who dare to speak the truth about your beloved, but lousy team. Clausen has shown me nothing to make me believe he will be an NFL QB. But don't worry some stupid GM will waste a high draft pick on him. Tate should enter the draft, he has nothing to gain by staying, whether or not the Fat Man is fired.
Posted Wednesday November 11, 2009, About: Boras meets with Mets
It is simple - If the Yankees bid Holliday will get a contract similar to Texiera. If the Yanks are not a player he will get $100 million over 6-7 years.

If the Yanks sign Bay, Holliday or Lackey I am through as a baseball fan.
Posted Monday November 09, 2009, About: Blue Jays may trade Halladay
The Jays blew it big time by not trading Halladay last year. No team is going to give them squat without a sign and trade deal and Halladay has zero incentive to agree to that. At the end of 2010 he will be able to pick where he goes.

By the way Yankees fans - neither the Jays nor any other team is interested in your young garbage talent, anymore than you are. But don't worry, I am sure they will turn baseball into even more of a joke with a couple more $100 million contracts.
Posted Sunday November 08, 2009, About: Friend: Cavs should fear LeBron leaving
At some point can't David Stern fine the Post and the Knicks for tampering? The endless string of "stories" quoting anonymous "sources" which are clearly designed to create unhappiness between the Cavs and LeBron is outrageous. The last laugh though is going to be on the Knicks and NYC if and when LeBron leaves...and it is NOT to the hapless Knicks. The time when an athlete needed to play in NYC to get endorsements is long past. What company that does not currently have a deal with LeBron is going to ink him if he moves to the Knicks? I'm sure LeBron can read and is well aware of what a mess the Knicks are. King James wants a title, he will get the same money wherever he goes...or if he stays in Cleveland. Personally I hope he stays, it is the best thing for the NBA. But my dark horse still are the Celtics. LeBron, Pierce and Garnett would be a sure thing for 3-4 titles for the most storied franchise in the game.
Posted Sunday November 08, 2009, About: Grizzlies: Iverson hasn't asked for trade
Trade? Trade? You're talking about a TRADE? This is a guy who signed with the worst team in the league for $3 million because no other team wanted him at any price. Now that he has again, immediately demonstrated that he is a whiny, toxic over-rated brat, why would any team want him? Every team this punk has left has gotten better and every team he joins gets worse. He may still be a hero to short, play ground style, heave and chuck, no defense guys everywhere, but he is a lousy NBA player. Iverson should have joined the And One tour years ago.
Posted Saturday October 31, 2009, About: Celtics, Rondo no closer to new deal
Rondo and his agent are idiots. Trade him to some suckers such as the Knicks for draft picks. If you are going to pay someone Dwayne Wade money; then why not get Dwayne Wade?
Posted Monday October 26, 2009, About: Bradford not necessarily done with OU
Some stupid team will waste a high pick on him. He is clearly too fragile to last in the NFL. I figure he gets selected around number 15 and then holds out for #1 money.
Posted Wednesday October 21, 2009, About: Red Sox make ex-Padres GM offer
How to be GM of the Yankees - 1) look over the list of free agents 2) Get out the checkbook 3) write check for whatever the free agents you desire ask.

Baseball is run by fools if they don't believe the Yankees are ruining the game. Heck, teams like the Angels and Dodgers can't even sell out their play-off games. Fans in cities like KC, Pittsburgh and Minnesota are going to say, "enough" one of these days. If your team is going to essentially be a minor league development project for the Yanks, Sox, Mets, Phillies, then folks are going to expect to pay minor league prices.
Posted Friday October 16, 2009, About: Will Angel end up in Boston?
Signing Abreu would fit with Theo's find cheap rehab projects and then spend as much on them combined as you would have to just get a good player to start with.

If the Yankees sign Bay or Holliday this off season I am through watching baseball.

Hey Yanks fans, quit defending the indefensible, the fact is that your team has purchased their success. They spend $100 million more on payroll than the next closet team, then add on the luxury tax. They ought to win the World Series every year, the fact that they don't makes them a pack of over-paid under achievers. Go Angels!
Posted Friday October 02, 2009, About: Iverson: Pistons lied to me
More trash talk from the most over-rated player in NBA history.
Posted Wednesday September 23, 2009, About: Report: Russian to bid $700M for Nets
Anyone who doesn't believe this guy is a shady character is a fool. The NBA is a joke anyway; lousy basketball, fixed games and see no evil, hear no evil Stern at the helm. The real story is whether this guy's billions and Russian mob contacts can get Ratner's Brooklyn obscenity built.
Posted Monday September 21, 2009, About: Niners accuse Jets of Crabtree tampering
Crabtree and his agent are the biggest dunces on the planet. If I were the 49ers GM I would offer Crabtree a nickel at this point. He will be lucky to get drafted in the 4th round next year. A guy who misses a whole year, with only two years of college is going to take at least a season to be at NFL level.
Posted Saturday September 12, 2009, About: Dice-K to return Tuesday
and hitters are salivating all over the League.
Posted Tuesday September 08, 2009, About: How did Iverson-Grizzlies meeting go?
That's FUNNY! and so true. I have to laugh at Iverson, $3.5 million! But why even waste that much on him? Whatever happened to the Greek team that was going to sign him? If AI signs with the Grizzlies it proves just one thing, that AI is all about the money, because he sure isn't going to win a title there. If he had a lick of sense he would retire before he utterly tarnishes what little rep he has left.
Posted Wednesday August 19, 2009, About: Iverson waiting on three teams to call
What happened to the Greek team that was going to sign the Cancer? You are done as a player when you have to start your own rumors about which team you are going to sign with. No one will give him more than a year at a couple million. I'll bet he ends up in NYC because they are the most dysfunctional organization in sports.
Posted Tuesday August 18, 2009, About: Marshall: Pay me or trade me
The Broncos have ZERO incentive to sign Marshall to any sort of extension. At the moment I don't believe he has made it through a whole practice. Marshall and his agent are pushing for this because they are worried he will stink on the field and he desperately needs the cash thanks to his off field issues. Trading him is not an option because they would get nothing for him.

SHUT UP AND PLAY BM!!!
Posted Monday August 17, 2009, About: Source: Record offer not enough for Strasburg
Frankly I think the Nats were suckers to even make the $12.5 million offer. Remember the last, "can't miss, Cy Young winner" pitcher Scott Bora$$ pimped? A guy named Dice-K. How is that working out for the Sox?

If he doesn't sign where is Strasburg going to pitch for the next year?

The guy may become a superstar, but the best baseball team he has ever pitched against, the Cuban Olympic team chased him after 3 runs in 4 innings.
Posted Monday August 17, 2009, About: Heat out on Iverson?
"Iverson, a pure scorer" - what the heck does that mean? A guy who is a lifetime 43% shooter is a "pure" scorer? Does it refer to the fact that in true playground fashion once AI has the ball he is going to heave up a shot no matter what? AI is done as an NBA player. He was always overrated and now his many flaws and lack of interest in team play make him useless.
Posted Friday August 14, 2009, About: Source: Crabtree won't sign until Sept.
The 49ers should withdraw their offer and tell him to go f'em self. Who even knows if he is capable of playing? Remember this punk ended the season injured.

At this point he will likely be a waste of bench space for half the season, by September he will be a waste for the whole season. The 49ers aren't going to be contending for a playoff spot anyway, so tell this idiot and his dimwit agent to drop dead.
Posted Friday August 14, 2009, About: D-Wade: I won't play for Knicks, Nets
Journalism is DEAD! Wade did NOT say he would not play for either team. The headline on this bit of garbage is a flat out lie. Read the actual quote.
