Not buying into much of the talk about the SEC being a leftover. I really dont think the comments recently from a supposed MU official are real. The words were very offensive to the SEC and that is what makes the remark very suspicious and unbelievable. There is a large sack of fans that want to go to the SEC rather than the BIG10 including myself. Obviously the research funds are a priority for any school in the BIG10 and any school would be interested to join them within reason.

Dont forget about Branson. The series was 37-32 Nebraska up until '79 when NU went on that amazing 20+ year run ranked in the top 10 all but maybe 1 year and Mizzou for some reason decided football was not a priority. If you meant the late 1890's you are correct(1893 to be exact).

I think Oklahoma will finish 1,2 or 3 in football in the SEC most years, the same in the Pac but more 1st or 2nds. They belong in the midwest though
