id go with gardenhire because he makes competitive teams out of nothing. i also think piniella should have his name in that list but he wont because his team has a ton of talent and they got off to a slow start last year and took until the all star break to finally get hot. oh well....i agree with the gardenhire decision though...i mean come on how many managers take their team to the playoffs without one bonafide superstar in their lineup...maur and morneau are studs but they arent at an arod or miguel cabrera level...they are on the same level as a nick swisher or travis hafner or paul konerko....really good and put up really good numbers...but they arent exactly superstars

They still wouldnt be able to compete with the cubbies
Posted Wednesday February 20, 2008, About: Soriano still slowed by injury
ok astrohe is fine...hes fine. he will swipe at least 30-50 bases next year and lead the league in outfield assists because people still underestimate his cannon of an arm.

what better option do they have? plus...they will still need a legit playmaker at either runningback or receiver......but first things firstr they need an oline because that alone will improve many offensive categories and the qb will have better protection than the crap they had last year. if they beef up their line...bernard will put up huge numbers because the running game will be more effective and so will the qb. however they still need a steve smith type of playmaker. but getting rid of moose was very good. they also got rid of fred miller and darwin walker and then offered competitive contracts to briggs, berrian, grossman, and ayenbadejo....if they could keep 2 or 3 of these guys they will be in good shape.

i wouldnt mind seeing him in navy blue and orange with a big c on his helmet.

too bad he wont falll that far and plus who could they give up for that pick?
Posted Tuesday January 22, 2008, About: Bulls, Griz to resume trade talks
he would turn this thing around.....they need a low post guy who can score and thats it.

why dont w do that? ive always wondered why the big ten doesnt do that.
Posted Sunday January 20, 2008, About: Pacman: 'I want to go to Dallas'
this guy is a moronic peice of garbage and any team stupid enough to take him in will pay for it. he has not made one good decision since he became his own man after college. i guarantee the only reason that idiot even was able to go to school was football. he is a moron and i hope he goes somewhere like miami or st. louis. at least the loud mouths that are already in dallas arent going to jail every night because some stripper didnt give out.

hecouldnt go any faster or he would have missed the layup.
Posted Sunday January 13, 2008, About: Favre's return not so certain
i hate to see it but he willplay a few more years because he doesnt look ready to give it up and he will break my bears blue and orange heart for a few more years...except when we play him.
Posted Saturday January 12, 2008, About: Braves, A's working on trade
they always do this but still find a way to be competitive. unlike kc and tb....they ctually get the real good prospects.
Posted Monday January 07, 2008, About: Bears free agents heading West?
if this happpens oh well cuz they will overpay for berrian because hes no a legit number one and he will get paid like one. briggs is the best outside backer in the game but if we lose him our d will still be strong because his backup jamar williams played in his stead in like four games and it was like the same guy playing.
Posted Friday January 04, 2008, About: Bears don't rule out QB trade
olsen will be close when he gets full time minutes in a year or two. he gets in the air and makes grabs like moss. he is a stud and so is berrien.
Posted Friday January 04, 2008, About: Bears don't rule out QB trade
get playmakers....no offense or qb is remotely successful without a playmaker. romo has witten, t.o., and barber.......brady has maroney, welker, stalworth, and moss.....favre has driver and jennings.......bulger has holt and stephen jackson.....manning has wayne, harrison, clark, and addai. i mean come on...before we brand these guys and say they suck give them a playmaker or at least a coherent player to give the ball to.
Posted Friday January 04, 2008, About: Bears don't rule out QB trade
get a running game first....and a line....then if the qb play doesnt get more consistent...then go for a qb. grossman was awesome when he had a run game that was effective and a line that was capable of blocking. its awful hard to throw a pass when you are on your back under a 300 pound linemen every play isnt it?
Posted Wednesday January 02, 2008, About: Illini RB puts off NFL decision
i hope he goes and i hope the bears get him. he would look good in hometown colors baby. plus they will be lucky to finish third behind michigan #1 and ohio state #2.
Posted Monday December 24, 2007, About: Bulls may explore Wallace trade
we need a big guy who can score...not one who is scared of the basket and does a layup lik eme in 3rd grade.
Posted Friday December 21, 2007, About: Falcons kicker wants to stay
isnt he near 50 now? i remember he broke the record a million years ago for points.
Posted Friday December 21, 2007, About: Pennington's last start as Jet?
he better not come to the bears. i dont want some weak armed mad magazine cover guy starting when hes a guy who could throw the ball and his arm might go with it.
