I liked Barry Sanders a lot myself. Barry seemed to like doing what he did just because of his love of the game, whereas Emmitt seemed to be more for his own glory. He kept every football that he scored with, for instance. I kind of wish Walter Payton's record was still Paytons, to tell you the truth.
Jim Brown...........yeah, I don't care much for his personality either.
I remember just the 6 TD game, tho. They didn't televise their games much down here, unless they played the Cowboys, but man, that one game was for the ages.
I only saw his name mentioned once, at comment 106. Gale Sayers, if you've never seen him play, you missed a great running back. I'm a Cowboys fan, but I think Gale Sayers was the best. I remember watching him score 6 touchdowns on a muddy field. If he hadn't of had knee injuries, no telling what this man could have done.
But, since this is just an opinion poll so to speak, Sayers is who'd I would want on my team, if all things were created equal.
If the Raiders stayed put, and played whoever their back up is, chances are this "winning" attitude they now have, would dissipate. They're winning as of this writing, and I'm sure they'd like to keep it going. They can always go back to the way they were, and even with this trade, they may well do that.
Palmer never did impress me, what little I saw him play, but, as with most players, a change of scenery could be just what he needs. If he helps them continue winning, then why not?
Yeah....but, she thought she'd "break" me from football when we first got married. Not gonna happen. I've watched football since I was pre teen, and her or no one else was going to change that, and she might as well accept it. She don't really accept it, but she knows it's useless to argue with me.
I married a Packers "fan", although she knows NOTHING about the team at all. She just "likes" them...I guess their colors must appeal to her or something..........She is a vehement hater of all sports. She comes from a family of Bears fans, except her older brother, who likes the Bengals.
Well, this is a first for me. May be some more further down the road, but I'll deal with them as they come. I might enjoy them if they're legit.......who knows? This one was a farce, tho.

"Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience."........
"The Guru" saved me from that, I guess. He argued nothing.
