How low maintenance are you if you are already proving to be a distraction? Albeit a small one, but by teammates having to answer questions about you, a distraction none the less. Just get in camp and work out your deal from there. Holdouts normally get injured due to missing all the "camps".
Some people just can't comprehend what they read. Everyone is missing his key point of visiting a cold weather city ONCE. In this example, this is the only time that NYY is visiting Cleveland. So to schedule it in the beginning of the season, when there is a greater chance for a cancellation, it doesn't make sense. Because if it is cancelled, the NYY (or other visiting team) will have to schedule an entire trip on a day off just to play one game.
However, if it were against a divisional opponent, which they visit each other's stadium 3-4 times a year, they could easily make up a missed game via a double header.
Why doesn't anybody bring up steroids with Griner? She looks like a dude and sounds like a dude. So if she actually isn't "equipped" like a dude, it has to be steroids. I'm just saying.
This has to be a personality conflict between Hump and Cerlisimo. I don't think its his production, or lack thereof. He is averaging about half of his stats from last year. But, he is also averaging about half of his playing time. In theory, if his time doubled his stats would double. Those stats would then equal the numbers he was putting up to get his latest contract.
Once the PSU President became involved, it was out of Joe Paterno's hands. Thus, out of the NCAA's hands. It was a criminal case, not an athletic case.
First of all, I am NOT a Chargers fan, especially Rivers. I never said that Brees wasn't a good quarterback. However, because the NFL is a business that is why the Chargers didn't sign him after he injured his shoulder. They weren't sure how his shoulder would respond. Heck even Brees didn't know, otherwise he would not have signed the 6 year/60 mil contract. He was thankful that someone gave him a contract and he jumped at it. He should have signed a 2 or 3 year contract if he was so confident. Now that he is 33, or however old he is, he shouldn't be paid based off of what he has done, but rather what they expect him to do in the future. He's arguing over 1.25 mil a year when his salary will be doubled. Really?
By the way river1075, his post wasn't that good with relation to what I originally said.
He wasn't snubbed by the Chargers or Dolphins. He was coming off of a surgically repaired shoulder. Yes, the Saints took a chance on him when no one else would. He shouldn't have signed a 6 year deal back then. He id because he wasn't even sure what his shoulder would do, so he wanted whatever money he could get. HIS FAULT!! Did he overplay his contract (versus what others get paid)? Yes. Should the Saints noe overpay him? NO!
Romo and the Cowboys beat the Eagles in January of 2010. The Cowboys problem is Jerry Jones! Until he hires another (Bill Parcells did crap) football guy, they will go nowhere.
