take it from someone who has dealt with Chiari for the past 7 years I have had two brain surgery and 12 spine surgeries this condition is not to be taken lightly!! Having to deal with the train whistles in your head the headaches the spasms, numbness, balance problems, sight problems and on and on. You can't concentrate and God forbid he gets hit and his neck were to snap backwards he'd be sipping from a straw for the rest of his life!! Take it from someone that's lived with it, it's no fun and it's not worth risking your life for the game!! Mark from Boston
