Benson is your "peeps?" He is a suburban white guy who had his mamma and daddy to wipe his tail his whole life?

I too use a theme relevant to myself. The fact that I use Snowflake the now-deceased albino gorilla is a bit alarming in that sense, but we all have our shortcomings I suppose.

Meh... It is 2008 and I understand that some men do this sort of thing. I can accept our differences. But using terms like "po-po" bespeaks severe childhood trauma brought on by being hugged a little too tightly by Mamma when she used a rectal thermometer on one. A life-long association between love and **** probing is the only reason one would conversationally use a term such as "po-po."

"Blood wolf,
What does "ethnic" mean? Can you be a white guy and be ethnic too?" -pencilneckgeek | 05/06/08, 08:14 AM

Er... yes you can. I suggest a nice dictionary for reference. "Ethnic" will be in the "E" section.

He is 12 now, and got the shirt in 2003? Like, when he was 7 or 8? The shirt still fits enough to pull over to his belt? Hopefully, it was 5 sizes to big when he got it...

Cops aren't paid enough to arrest all the nutjobs out there. Personally, I hate dealing with drunks. On the other hand, for every nutjob who resists arrest, there are two cops who resort to spray if the suspect twitches an eyelid.

If you're over 6', over 200 lbs, or ethnic, it pays to immediately fall to the ground saying, "I surrender, please tell me how I can cooperate" as soon as cops show up. Otherwise, you'l be "subdued."

Drink at home.

If people are going to start throwing rocks at other Americans who drink in their 20's, then they're gonna be real surprised who they bean in the noggin.
Posted Tuesday April 15, 2008, About: Tillman's widow breaks silence
"No. The sad part was that he lost his life. Period. Get your priorities in line. "

My priorities are in line. Tillman's death was sad for his family and friends, and I can empathize with those who were hurt by his death. But that is simply empathy. I have no emotional attachment to Tillman on a personal level. However, I do have a direct relationship with my government. If you experienced a genuine emotional reaction to Tillman's death, then you perhaps should examine your connection to reality.

"This isnt about Football, this isnt about opinions of Iraq or Afghanistan. This is about a man, serving his country who was killed. Just as the thousands of others that were before him and will come after him. The coverup was not the tragedy. The death was."

Death and sacrifice in warfare is expected. It is tragic for the families involved (on both sides, by the way). Again, I feel empathy for those who have lost someone they cared about. The coverup is tragic as well, but less so than the tragedy of those who would absolve the government of accountability. In sooth, those who would absolve the American government of accountability are cheapening the sacrifice of those killed.

"If you think for one second that this was the first time the government has lied to a soldiers family or the public in general, you're in a dream world."

Did I indicate that this is the first time? Such 8'th grade tactics in a duscussion are beneath you, I had hoped. I assume that it happens an alarming amount. All the more reason to hold the government accountable. Surely you are too bright to regard your point as valid.

"Why must this country denigrate our heroes? " - CowboyDave

Denigration would include using a soldier's death in some infantile and sycophantic bulletin board post indemnifying the current Executive administration against reproach for their own abusive machinations involved with that soldier's death, such as: "The attempted coverup is not the sad part, that is a disgrace. The sad & disgraceful part is the emphasis on the coverup, rather than the sacrifice this man made."

Tillman was killed by friendly fire and it was covered up, right? The military essentially lied to the media and Tillman's family? That is the sad part behind all of this.

Posted Tuesday April 15, 2008, About: Shockley's Falcons job in danger
Sucks to get hurt and lose a job, but it is a reality all of us face. Granted, the odds of me getting a career-threatening injury working on an Oracle database are pretty slim. I'd wager that pro football offers more opportunities to get injured. I'd also wager that every man playing knows this reality...
