Brooklyn Decker

ManKok, you've got your hands full already. Don't even try to bring Farve into Cleveland. We need to pick a QB that will be here for the next 5+ years... not 1.
Dump him for a 1st + 4th rounder this year and a conditional pick next year pick with at least second round potential. ManKok is going to foul this up and try to put the thumb screws to the Giants, asking for a Giants starter though. I just hope ManKok can draft. I suppose we'll see.
If the Indians aren't completely decimated by injuries and doing foolish things postion-wise like continuing the Andy Marte experiment after letting him stew for a while in Columbus, they are easily contenders again. Pedro add depth and experience to a starting rotation that could be anchored by 3 question marks, possibly 4 if Fausto can't relax and throw like his break out year two seasons ago. They have enough talent to make the post season, and adding Pedro another experienced arm that wouldn't shirk under post season lights, assuming his body holds up that long.
You won't even have to be at the top. All we ask is that you pitch a better game than the rest of the scrubs slugging it out for the bottom 2 on our rotations. I think you can still pitch better than Laffey, Sowers, or Westbrok when he's back from the DL.
Oh well. If we ever did win a another championship in anything relevant, the universe could very well collapse itself. I'd hate to be partially responsable for that.
Mangini at least turned in winning records 2 out of 3 seasons in a pretty tough AFC East, regardless of any other baggage. Considering the drudgery we've seen since 1999, I'll give Mangini the benefit of a doubt.
He's not my first choice. Cowher took himself off the market for at least another year, Martyball wants to GM, Parcells is staying warm in Miami. The only clear cut improvement still out there was Shanahan, who might not have even been interested in the job, given the lack of talent, presecence of egos despite lack of success, cap issues, etc. Not sure if Lerner even interviewed Shanahan. But regardless, Mangini has head coaching experience, and can win, regardless of any Spygate baggage.
That's a marked improvement over Romeo Crennel. A sack of potatoes would be too, in my book. My only hope is that Mangini's contract length isn't more than 3 years. I doubt he'd sign for 2, but don't tell me he's got 4+.
Like I said, I'm not thrilled, but he's an improvement over Romeo.
At this point, I'd dig up Paul Brown, open the casket, and prop it up over the on side lines, because a corpse of a winner would be more inspirational than Romeo ever was.
They have essentially fired the head idiot, and said, "pay no attention to the two idiots behind the curtain." My condolences Lions fans. Cleveland may have stunk it up this year as well, but I think Randy Lerner at least has multiple brain cells to rub together, unlike the entire Ford family.
We've learned the pain of miscalculating QB depth, not to mention the debacle that is Derek Anderson. Not to mention the struggles of "Drops" Edwards. I don't think he droped any against Cinci though, to his credit, but the Bengals hardly have a secondary worth mentioning.
He's either trying to force his way out of Cleveland, or he is completely disconnected from reality/
