Wow, what fantasy world do you live in, man? LOL

So it's a crime to change your mind (which AT THAT TIME Favre had just done once - key point) and want to play longer? I think he simply realized that he had more gas in the tank and could help the Packers a few more times. So for that CRIME that clueless Thompson-bozo decided that their future Hall of Fame QB, without whom, the Packers would have had FAR less success these past many years, should have to compete for his position.

And you're claiming that he disrespected them? LOL Get a clue man.

I can't imagine how anyone can see it otherwise - I've always found it bizarre (even before he opted to join my Vikings or any rumors were out there about it) that some fans took this stance.

This reminds me of when that dumb@$s Jerry Stackhouse mouthed off about Michael Jordan not being all that great - to which Jordan promptly laid a 50+ point game in his face.

Note to Oher - people who just got beat up and outplayed should keep their mouths shut. It's one thing to talk trash after winning a game but considering that he didn't do all that great of a job on Jared Allen, he probably needs to zip his lip and keep his tiny brain from making him look like more of an idiot (as Jared Allen rightly named him).

It's so much more tolerable to root for the Red Sox over the loathsome Yankqueens. I can't even being to understand how any fan (other than native New Yorkers) can cheer for the Yankmes. There's nothing honorable about their over-paid stance towards winning = cough up more $$ than everyone else to buy a winning season. Wow. How impressive.

The Angels are going to pound the Yankees and we'll all have a good hearty laugh.

If they wouldn't have had help from the Umpires (probably paid by MLB who would be horrified to not have a big-market team go deep in the play-offs), my Twins could've whupped them. We'd be up 2-1 already with even a tiny bit of luck. Pretty sad considering the discrepancies in salaries between the teams.

It'd be nice if people focused on the article rather than making irrelevant (and at least to me, fairly uninteresting) remarks about current EPL matches going on. My suggestion is to go find a chat-room to discuss the matches. This thread should be able the friendlies lined up, which I think should be good prep for the World Cup (assuming we qualify, which we should).

Ugh. That would be the worst thing for baseball - more rich teams getting richer and better. I'd at least prefer the Red Sox over the Spankees. They suck more than any other team in history.

I'll be shocked if the cheap-**** Twins ownership and Management actually go out and get some firepower (pitching) to buff up the team. Their motto is "why improve anything when we can just be cheap and brain-dead fans will still pay money to watch our average team?"

What's really sad is that we have a new stadium to play in next year - you'd think they'd at least have the guts to get a strong line-up in place for its very first season. Bah!

Wow. You've proven the point that there can be clueless fans out there. Anyone who has had to suffer through watching T-Suck play can see he's horrible - stop making excuses for him and be thankful we have a decent QB finally (even if he's older, he's still a million times better than T-suck and Sage, for that matter). Nuff said.

If any supposed players supposedly supported T-suck, they must have more collision-related brain damage than previously suspected. This is a QB that has had YEARS to show that he can play in the NFL and has consistently been inconsistent at best. Sorry T-Jack, you had your chance, time to go bye-bye now.

Ya gotta love how the Packers are treating the pre-season games like real games and then stroking themselves over the results. I love what the Bill's coach said about their blitzes, "you don't really expect to see that in a pre-season game."

It seems like the Pack is pretty desperate to start things off on a hot streak. One wonders what will happen once the games are for real? I'm thinking it's gonna be less than inspirational. While their Pass offense is very good (best QB in our division, imho), their running game is far less effective, and their pass defense is shaky still (and not any younger). I'd say their run defense is slightly above average and their new 3-4 looks to be working out well for them, so that's a plus.

They may challenge for Division title but I wouldn't be surprised if they have another so-so year.
