The only way D12 and CP3 wind up in Dallas is if both LA teams construct sign and trades with Dallas so both stars get max contracts. Dallas may have the pieces and or expiring deals to get it done, but who would the La La teams want in return? Elton Brand, Vince Carter, OJ Mayo, The Matrix, Darren Collison, Chris Kaman, Brandon Wright? I hope they can make it happen...would be interesting to see a "super" team out West to challenge the Heat in the East.
Bynum's a tool and we already know that whomever signs him is even more of a tool.
Looking at the last couple of Spur's losses...is there anyone else that thinks they are "tanking" to get the 2 seed and avoid an opening round series with the Lakers? Spurs could easily have beaten the Heat by playing at least one of the stars that rested. Probably could have beaten the Thunder too.
This is what I was thinking. They just signed Alex Smith who's best at the short to medium range pass. You pair him up with Welker in the slot and watch out. Bowe is open on most post routes and Jamal Charles (JC) can gash opposing defenses.
I wonder if the guy or gal that miked up Melo noticed if his breath smelled like Honey-Nut Cheerios? Then we'd know what he was up to before the game...having a bowl of cereal. C'mon...what were you all thinking?
Yes, I do love fried chicken, but not a big fan of watermelon, unless it's in a fruit salad. I do not like heineken, and didn't think that particular beer was a stereotypical African-American beverage of choice. You might want to go with Old English 800 (Eight-Ball); or Schlitz Malt Liquor Bull the next time you want to try and dish off on a black person. Just to clarify, my beer of choice is Yuengling's.
Now, I apologize for saying white boy and calling out everyone of the Caucasian persuasion, that was not right. My issue is with Mr. Bruschi, whom I don't think would have called out a white player for doing the same thing. Now we have a chance to see if I'm correct, as Tom Brady has just put something out there to the media, encouraging fans to start drinking early before the Patirot home opener. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Tom-Brady-tells-fans-to-d rink-early-Pats-claim-?urn=nfl-wp7127
It was a poor enough decision for Brady to utter those words, that Pats brass tried to clean it up (albeit a terrible clean up job) by saying he meant drink water and hydrate. Let's see if Bruschi tee's off on Brady for his bonehead comments. I know it won't happen, but if it does, I'll buy all you haters a Heineken.
Ooh, I must have struck a nerve. Let me guess, you're a caucasian male who loves everything Patriot, right? Take some beers and clams and stick 'em where the sun don't shine. I didn't just pull the "race card" as quite a few of you white boys call it, it's the truth. Tell me if any white player had did the same thing, that Teddy would have T'd off that way! If you honestly believe that, then I will gladly take back my comment.
Truth is, Bruschi is a racist and was way out of line. If Wes Welker had said the same thing, Bruschi wouldn't have T'd off like that. He obviously does not like 85, and hated that the team signed him. The Bible says, "out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." Bruschi has had hatred in his hear for Chad for a long time, and finally felt he had a reason to blast him. Bruschi, you're not a player anymore, analyze the game like your paid to do, and keep your personal opinion about players to yourself.
Bosh needs to come in off the bench. Yes, I know, highest paid sixth man in history... but it's what will fix this team. No, I'm not a Heat fan, I'm a Celtics fan, but still think this starting five will work out the kinks:
PG - Chalmers, SG- D. Wade, SF - Mike Miller, PF- LBJ, C - Dampier. Miller needs to take more shots to be effective. Wade needs to be the dominant player on the wing. LeBron will kill opposing teams by moving down low and with his passing skills, hit Miller and Wade for open looks.
Bench: PG - Bibby, G/F- House, F/C- Bosh, C- Z. Ilgauskus. Deeper Bench, More effective starting 5, Bosh is "THE MAN" withe the second unit and probably gets you 20 and 8 a game again (i.e. Toronto) in this role.
